Hello Sweet Friends! Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes. I had the best weekend spending time with my family. All of the kids were home and I couldn’t have been happier. I was in a hurry to make a fall wreath. It was so easy I almost feel embarrassed showing you. But every now and then, we need simple, easy DIM (Do It Myself) projects, right?! So here is the easiest fall wreath you’ll ever make in your life – seriously.
The Easiest Fall Wreath – Ever!
The only thing you’ll need for this easy project is a wreath and one fall garland. Yep, 2 things. Are you smiling with a grin so big your neighbors can see your pearly whites?! When I realized how easy it was, that’s what I did – LOL! You could be thinking I’m lazy but I’m not. I needed a quick and easy fall wreath that was fast, simple and eye-catching.
Steps to Making this easy fall wreath
The boxwood wreath shown from Pier One is 22 inches in diameter. It’s made of plastic and if you’re using a boxwood wreath I would highly recommend the plastic ones. The preserved wreaths are going to fall apart more easily. This one took two small (dollar store) garlands to go around the entire wreath. I believe you could use one 6 foot garland and have plenty. Actually, that might be a bit much but is there really such a thing as too much fall? π
Simply start at the top and wrap the garland around the wreath. I tucked the garland tightly then fluffed the leaves out so you couldn’t see the base stem all that much.
Takes about 3 minutes once you get started. I didn’t even have to adhere the ends of the garland. Just tuck them in on the back side. I love how it turned out and the best part was not having to pull out the hot glue gun and waste time tucking in a bunch of floral picks.
There are so many cute garlands out there and having a boxwood wreath is always a good idea. When I’m finished with fall, I’ll just unwind the garland and stuff them inside one of the fall bins. I might even take it off the mirror, sit it on a table and plop a large pumpkin inside. That would be a super easy and adorable centerpiece!
Great idea!!! Happy Birthday πππ. Glad to hear you had a nice one

Thanks Barbara! Birthday was awesome. Have a great week!
I love this! I have seen a similar concept done with garland and grapevine wreaths, but I love this because you can more easily tuck the garland vine in the boxwood and just allow the pretty leaves to show. Also love that it can be easily disassembled and changed for the seasons! I have made wreaths with hot glue guns and picks and wire and all that fun stuff, but we have busy lives and sometimes those things just donβt get done or we end up paying a lot of money for one ready made. Simple and easy is goodπππ

Exactly Vicki! We have busy lives and I’m not a great crafter anyway. I’ve tried the hot glue and pick type of wreath and it just never looked as good as the store bought wreaths but it cost just as much. I have to ask myself… how much is my time worth? I say $200 bucks an hour so my wreaths were costing me about $600! LOL
How cute this is. I love the wreath. Cindy….look at you, you are becoming quite the DIYer! Happy Tuesday.

My second favorite wreath is also a fall garland attached to a wreath form….and you are right, easiest ever…
I love wreaths and have quite a few…think I will do a quick post about them. Thanks for the idea.

Thank you Marlene. I’m so grateful to have had them all here. That probably isn’t going to happen in the future as they spread themselves all over the US. :/
So pretty Cindy! I love that it has green leaves as well as fall colors in it, perfect for fall in a Texas!

We definitely need the green leaves around us in Texas since so much of our surroundings are brown this time of year. Glad you liked it Tammy. π
