I got an email saying LaurieAnna’s was having a sidewalk sale. Have you heard of this place? Do you know where LaurieAnna’s is located? It’s in Canton, TX and it’s the most beautiful store I’ve ever laid my eyes on. Seriously, I’ve dreamt of hiding in the clothes racks until they close only to then come out and pretend it’s my own castle and live for an evening.
If you are ever in the vicinity on the weekend before the first Monday of the month and you love farmhouse, vintage or the shabby chic style, you must go! You too will want to hide in the clothes racks and stay the night.
This is LaurieAnna’s,
the most beautiful store ever!
They obviously have it all decked out for Easter. Every nook and cranny has something to behold. From gorgeous linens and corbels and artwork and figurines to dishes and dresses and chandeliers and awnings. It’s all there and it’s all fabulous.
I try and look at each little (or big) thing in the store and even though I could be in there 3 hours, I know I’ve missed something wonderful. There is so much to see.
There is inspiration galore at every turn. If you aren’t careful, you might miss the one thing you’ve been dying to have. Like maybe unique paper place mats that aren’t vintage but look old. I bought one to use as art work. I think they are way to pretty to get dirty! There are faux flowers that look stunningly authentic and lanterns small and tall. Can you see the pale green mantel in the back ground of the picture above? If I had driven the truck, that baby would have come home with me!
About 10 years ago, my BFF asked me to speak to the ladies group at her church about decorating. One of the ideas I gave was to use pillowcases as chair back covers. It’s nice to see that I was “before my time!” LOL! LaurieAnna’s is doing it now. And I am using the same type chairs and cushions in my new dining room! I know, right?! It’s so stinkin cute! I have several vintage pillowcases that I plan on sliding over the chairs real soon.
Did you notice what they did with the light fixture in the picture above? I’ve seen those wrought iron porch pieces everywhere. It makes a super cute light fixture, don’t you think? Another wonderful thing about LaurieAnna’s is how they show you so many different ideas for common items. Like the boxwood wreath you can find just about anywhere. Many of us think we have to hang wreaths, but look how they’ve placed them on cake plates. That would make whatever else you decide to put up there that much more special. Almost like what a cloche does.
LaurieAnna’s will soon be transformed again into another world for summer. Then fall, then Christmas! Oh my golly if you can only go one time, go at Christmas. I’m really surprised they don’t charge admission. It’s a fantasy land worthy of being its own display at Disney!
If you go and need a tour guide, I can tag along! I can show you the ropes for the rest of Canton, TX. It would be so much fun!

I’ve only visited Canton once in my entire life as a Texan. I’m surprised I’m allowed to stay here. This looks like a place I need to check out.

Lisa, I think if we would have known you’d only been to Canton once, we would have dragged you again and again. I think the Lone Star Sisters need to plan a trip!
Love this store!!! It is sooo dreamy! I could spend hours in there!

Jenny! We should go together. You and I both could hide in the clothes and wait until it closes! 😉
Wow, so beautiful!! Wish I could just jump down from Indiana to that store. However, that is not possible so thanks for sharing!! Love your posts!

Aww Sharon, thank you for your sweet comment. That makes my day. Maybe one day they’ll have a store like that near you?! If so, let me know and I’ll come visit you!
I’m with you! It’s a 2-hour drive down and 2 hours back, but my husband goes with me every other month or so. He sits in the truck and reads and misses all the wonderful decor so I have to buy as much as I can afford so he gets to see it!

I’m so grateful my hubby comes along. He’s my pack mule! 😂
I want to go! Maybe she would let us pay her $5 a piece & have a sleepover in there! She could just lock us in & we could drool on everything all night long! She could let us run a tab & cash out our (inevitable) large piles in the morning!! Lol Let me know the sleepover date…..😉

Cindy, I adore LaurieAnnas. It truly is a magical place. As is Canton. I go as often as I can. I was there Friday shopping with my twin sis. So much fun! And the treasures! I love the outside area the best.
I can’t wait to see the new store displays for summer. Thanks for sharing the Easter ones…I could spend hours just looking!
