Good morning beautiful friends! I have the privilege of sharing how to make the easiest linen spray that’s perfect for a guest room with you today. I’ve said privilege because the company Far & Wild reached out and asked if I wanted to review their products. I kind of laughed when I read the email. If they actually knew me, they’d know I never turn down an opportunity to give someone my opinion or just tell them what they wanted to hear. LOL!

Anyway, while I was preparing what I was going to say, I remembered I always wanted to make a candle in a vintage bowl I found months ago. But since the entire world seems to be short handed, I could never get the materials I ordered. Therefore, I made a linen spray instead. It actually worked out perfectly because we’re at the farmhouse with guests coming and I need to put on my hostess-with-the-mostess hat and reduce the mustiness here.
First things first. Here are some positives for Far & Wild Essential Oils. There are no membership fees or monthly minimums typically associated with essential oils. They have direct to consumer pricing and are less expensive than products I’ve purchased from doTERRA or Young Living. Last but not least, they are pure, not watered down, certified and will provide a testing analysis upon request. All things I find important with essential oils.
Now on to the steps of how I made the easiest linen spray ever!
Materials Needed: 4 ounce spray bottle (glass or plastic), 2 Tbls. Witch Hazel, Distilled Water, 10-20 drops of Far & Wild Essential Oil and a label (optional).
First add 2 tablespoons of Witch Hazel to your spray bottle then 10-20 drops of Essential Oil. Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water and shake. That’s it my friends! Now you know how to make the easiest linen spray that’s perfect for a guest room or anywhere really!
To bad we don’t have smellevision because in this dusty smelling farmhouse I used it on the quilts, pillows, sheets, faux flowers and curtains. And boy-oh-boy does this place smell heavenly! The only negative thing I can say about Far & Wild is that when you smell them in the bottle they are super strong and not exactly what they smell like when mixed and sprayed out but I suppose that’s not totally negative. I love the Peppermint and Winter Spice scents!
Next on my list is to add drops of the oils to our dryer balls. Actually doing that this afternoon. If you decide to look online at all of the Far & Wild scents, you can use THIS CODE for a 20% savings! You’ll get them lickety split and just in time for the holidays. Of course they make excellent gifts on their own but why not make a linen spray for Christmas gifts? I would love getting that! Enjoy!
Love this idea of making your own linen spray! Genius Cindy!!! Now I want to make my own, thank you!

Happy to share Lynn. Thanks for the visit.
Hi, Cindy! Just a heads-up, I get essential oils through a company called “Simply Earth” which offer their products (pure) for an even better savings. I compared the two sites and Simply Earth is about $10 less all around than Far & Wild prices! They (Simply Earth) are two women who founded the company and supply the products with a portion of each purchase going to Women/Children trafficking. If you are going to continue using essential oils, these ladies are great, explain exactly how to use each oil, whether it’s child/pet safe and very knowledgeable! They will answer any question with a pretty prompt reply! So maybe check them out, also, Lots of positive customer reviews including mine. And, No, I haven’t been paid for this post. I’m just very happy with them and their products and want to share so others can benefit from good, pure essential oils at a savings!!

Why yes, yes you can! Hope it comes in handy. Have a great week Marlene!
I would not be able to stay in your guest room, I would be allergic to the fragrance. We have stayed at so many B & B’s and I have had to ask for candles and flowers to be removed from the room. Even one had used fragrant dryer sheets on the linen napkins, and every time I wiped my mouth, my lips would swell and my nose run! Nothing like fresh air and no fragrance in my house!

Swelling lips? Oh gosh, that sounds terrible! I do love the fresh air but not the musty smells that our quilts and furniture can get when being shut up for weeks/months at a time. I do miss the days when grandma hung the laundry out on the clothes line though. Now that was a fantastic smell! Thanks for the visit Sue!
