It’s Fri-hi-hi-day again and this week on the Farmhouse Friday Link Party #193, we are featuring beautiful DIY posts. We have a lot of talented people that link up so it should come as no surprise it was hard to choose only four. I already have supplies for one of them and have a long list of to-do’s for many more. Fingers crossed the list gets shorter as the year goes on because I’ve actually done some of them. Before we get to the features, here’s what I’ve been up to this week.
If you struggle with how to decorate amazing looking or shelves, this is a great post with perfect examples of how to get it right. You can click on the link below to see the post.

We also had a Pinterest Challenge this week! Most of us are over the cold and had spring time on our brains. So 17 bloggers took 1 inspo photo and created something in our own style that worked for us. It’s so much fun and I’m always impressed each month to see what everyone comes up with. Check it out!

Now on to some great DIY’s and…
CoCo at The Crowned Goat shared how to turn any color book into this magnificent antiqued gray color. I can hardly wait to do this because I have some crazy colored books that I can’t display. Orange and purple just aren’t my vibe. π
Just in time for spring, Cindy at Cloches & Lavender shares how to make this adorable bird nest. She makes it look easy so check it out!
Paula from Sweet Pea aged this pot and show us how on her blog. I love the added image. So vintage looking!
Amber over at Follow The Yellow Brick Home shares how she made this magical Moss Covered Shamrock. I wonder if she can make us a pot of gold too? Yes, please!
Farmhouse Friday Link Party Rules:
- Since the party is called Farmhouse Friday, we’d like to keep the party farmhouse themed. You don’t have to live in a farmhouse or have farmhouse as your main decor theme in order to share. We love seeing farmhouse mixed in with other styles and it can be a DIY, decor inspiration or craft.
- No food or recipe posts please.
- We are flexible when it comes to defining “farmhouse” so if you are unsure of whether or not your post will fit in the party theme, go ahead and post it and if we feel it doesn’t fit, we’ll delete it – no hard feelings. 🙂
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, PST/8 AM, CST on Friday and ends at noon, PST/2 PM, CST on Monday.
- You aren’t required to link back to this party, but if you do, we’d greatly appreciate it!
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog and be inspired. Please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features or roundups. We’ll make sure to link back to your post and/or this party on the week it was featured.
Bloggers post throughout the day so come back later today or this weekend to see more farmhouse style inspiration. And don’t forget to PIN it!
Thanks so much for taking the time to host each week!! I appreciate all the time you put into it!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,

And another fun Friday! I always look forward to these link parties, because there is so much to look at. Thatβs sweet little planter from Sweet pea caught my attention right off the bat. Thank you for putting this all together, as I said it makes my week.

Well it was so cute, how could we not feature it! Thanks for linking up.
Just getting back into town, Cindy, but I didn’t want the day to go by without thanking you for featuring my painted books. They were so easy to make and I’ve been looking for all sorts of fun places to use them. I had a ton of dark purple-blue colored books and while I didn’t mind donating them, I’m glad to have found a decorating solution π You could knock out a set in a heartbeat with your creativity. Sending you big hugs and thank yous for the feature, CoCo

It was our pleasure CoCo. I’m trying to find the time to do a little crafting so I can paint a few. That’s the hard part. :/ Hope you have a wonderful week.
