Hello September and hello almost fall! Just under 20 more days and it’s official. We can stop feeling guilty for early fall decorating and secretly longing for pumpkin spice everything! Woo hoo! It’s time for the Farmhouse Friday Link Party #170! Are you excited? I am. Before I show you this week’s features, here’s what I’ve been up to. Well actually, I’ve been up to a lot more but this is all I had time to blog about. :/
Farmhouse Friday Link Party #170!
In my old(er) age, I’m keeping things easy to do and simple to look at. I’m over putting it all away once fall is over. If I had a break in between and didn’t go straight into Christmas decor, it might be a different story. Because I do love me some fall! But there is so much to get out and do after a good cleaning! This post is how I created a simple and festive fall mantel. You can check it out here.
Michelle has been so busy she hasn’t been able to post either but I wanted to show you her last years entryway. It’s so festive! If this makes me want to hang out at the door, can you imagine what the rest of the home looks like?! Check it out here. Yay for fall!
Farmhouse Friday Features!
Want to make a beautiful fall wreath but don’t know where to start? This grapevine wreath from The Crowned Goat is for you!
Look at this creative piece of art from Wisconsin Magpie. That’s a clever turkey!
Debra showed us how to transition into summer with her mantel. I think it’s perfect!
Not to boast or anything but this fabulous idea for a fall cloche from Sweet Pea was on my Pinterest Challenge. A must see for sure! ๐
Who doesn’t love free?! And when it’s a free AND beautiful fall printable?! That’s fantastic! Thanks DIY Mommy!
Shiplap and Shells had so many early fall vignettes to see in this post. You need to see them all! So inspiring!
LINK PARTY RULES:
- Since the party is called Farmhouse Friday, we’d like to keep the party farmhouse themed. You don’t have to live in a farmhouse or have farmhouse as your main decor theme in order to share. We love seeing farmhouse mixed in with other styles and it can be a DIY, decor inspiration or craft.
- No food or recipe posts please.
- We are flexible when it comes to defining “farmhouse” so if you are unsure of whether or not your post will fit in the party theme, go ahead and post it and if we feel it doesn’t fit, we’ll delete it – no hard feelings. 🙂
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, PST/8 AM, CST on Friday and ends at noon, PST/2 PM, CST on Monday.
- You aren’t required to link back to this party, but if you do, we greatly appreciate it!
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog and be inspired. Please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features or roundups. We’ll make sure to link back to your post and/or this party on the week it was featured.
NOW LET’S HAVE SOME PARTY FUN! IF YOU SEE SOMETHING YOU’D LIKE TO LOOK AT, JUST CLICK ON THE PHOTO.
{Bloggers post throughout the day so come back anytime this weekend to see more inspiration and don’t forget to PIN what you like!}

My pleasure Lisa! It’s super clever. My brain doesn’t work that way so I appreciate those that have brains way more creative than mine.
