Howdy friends!  It’s time for Farmhouse Friday 376.  I realize last week was the time but we had company that week and I literally just forgot!  When I finally got around to emails, there were so many it took me 3 days to go through them.  It’s nuts!  I wish companies would stop selling or giving out my info because most of my emails are spam.  I feel like screaming – I’ll call you if I want a new roof, or need medical services, or to send you money for the supposed authorized transaction on my account or a trip to Alaska!  Honestly!  It makes a person crazy.  I feel electronically controlled to check emails just so it doesn’t take me days to get through them.  Anyone else deal with that?  Thank heavens for the “spam filter”.

Sorry for the tirade.  I sound like I’m in a horn-tossing mood but I can’t help it.

Anyway.  Are you looking forward to Christmas?  Finished shopping?  Have plans to be with friends or family?  How about visit a church?  If you’re in my neck of the woods (north Dallas/Fort Worth area) our church has beautiful Christmas Eve services at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm.  I’d love to greet you at the door and you can sit by me and the Mister.

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 376

If you missed either of my holiday home tours, you can click on the links below the photos.  I love walking in the door.  The outside is pretty too with our pretty white lights but the yard and driveway are full of leaves.  We need to get that done but y’all, we spent hours 2 weeks ago removing and mulching the leaves only to wake up for a yard full again!  We’ve decided to wait until all the leaves fall this time.  Crazy enough, we still have trees with gorgeous fall color.  It’s weird!

stacked glass bowls to make a Christmas tree on a black backgroundI’ve loved this idea and have wanted to do this for a while now.  My problem is finding the right bowls.  If you have some or can find them, this should be your next project!  Hop over and see Ann at The Apple Street Cottage for details.  If you can stand to give it away, it would make a beautiful gift.  You can message me if you need my address. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Happy Friday, Cindy! I couldn’t agree with you more. Whenever I’m away from checking emails for a day or two, the emails waiting for me is overwhelming. A quick scroll usually proves that very few are for me personally! Thanks so much for hosting us all and providing the space to gather and share! We learn so much here! Have a great weekend!

    • December 13, 2024 / 9:42 am

Yep. Very few are actually for me. I’m thinking I need a new email address. Hope you have a great weekend Laura. Merry Christmas!

That’s crazy that you still have so many leaves falling…we are in a deep freeze up here in the North with temps in the negatives this week!
    Happy Christmas, Cindy!!

The negative temps?! Wow, I can’t even imagine! Stay warm and cozy friend. Happy Christmas.

  9. December 13, 2024 / 12:11 pm

Thanks for taking the time to host the party. I was afraid you might have run away for the rest of the month. I just delete the junk without bothering with them. There’s always a suspicious link to be wary of. Hope you have a super duper weekend, friend!!

    • December 13, 2024 / 12:22 pm

I have thought about running away for the month. LOL! Thank you Debra. Happy holidays!

  10. December 13, 2024 / 12:21 pm

Cindy, I completely understand the aggravation with email. If I miss one day, the emails pile up to the tune of 100 or more that are delete, delete, delete. If I take the time, I also mark as spam, block sender. It’s insane.
Thanks for finding time this week to host us. I truly adored your Christmas decor with the predominant greens and shades of white, with black accents. Have a merry weekend. It’s Nutcracker for me and my girls, along with some holly jolly afterward.

    • December 14, 2024 / 11:46 am

Oh how fun!!! I loved seeing the Nutcracker each year when we were younger. Taking my kids was a lot of fun. The girls loved dressing up. The boy not as much. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Have fun and I hope you have the merriest of Christmases. Thank you Rita.

  11. December 13, 2024 / 1:31 pm

I’m right there with you Cindy. Rant away. My inbox is beyond repair. And to add to the craziness many of my legit emails I’m looking for end up in my trash or spam folder so I have to check everything. There’s not enough hours in the day…. Anyway thanks fro another fun party and wishing you the best Christmas season. XO- MaryJo

    • December 14, 2024 / 11:48 am

It’s seriously ridiculous. We can send things to Mars but we can’t get a decent spam filter? Goodness gracious. Thank you for linking up and the visit MaryJo. Hope you have a fabulous holiday season.

  12. December 13, 2024 / 4:00 pm

    Thanks for hosting!

  13. December 13, 2024 / 5:46 pm

Hope you had a wonderful time with your guests! Good motivation to get house projects done, right;) Thanks for hosting!

    • December 14, 2024 / 11:50 am

Girl, we were the busiest bees in the neighborhood! Tired before the guests came then exhausted after they left. But yes, it was a great time. Thanks Lora.

Where is your cookie preference so I can easily choose instead of scrolling through pages and pages of superfluous information when I just want to make a choice on cookies? Would appreciate your help. Thanks

    • December 14, 2024 / 11:51 am

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand what you’re asking. You can email me if that helps.

  15. December 14, 2024 / 7:49 am

I don’t mind emails, I just quickly delete them, but it’s the texts that drive me crazy. Thanks for the party.

    • December 14, 2024 / 11:52 am

Oh no! Do you get spam texts? I hope that doesn’t start! Thanks for linking up Amy. Merry Christmas
