Happy Farmhouse Friday 372 Folks! I’ve been happily and eagerly packing up the fall decor and getting out the Christmas treasures. I know it’s not even Thanksgiving but we aren’t having a Thanksgiving this year because family from WY will be here for an early Christmas celebration the first weekend in Dec. Sounds perfectly fine to me since I’m the one doing 90% of the cooking.
What will your Thanksgiving look like? Who and where will you celebrate it?
If anyone needs a fun, easy cake for a party or serve to your family, I’ve got one that is so cute you’ll enjoy doing it over and over. It’s especially nice for those who don’t have time to bake or don’t enjoy decorating one. See it below!
How To Turn A Boring Store-Bought Cake Into A Harvest Hit!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 372!
Beth from Whispers of the Heart shared her adorable autumn tablescape. You’ll get all warm and cozy inside when you look at the entire table. Great Thanksgiving inspiration.
MaryJo from Masterpieces of My Life gave us several ideas for simple Thanksgiving decor. Pop in and see them all. I love this candle with the star anise and cinnamon sticks! I think she should gift that to me. 😉
This thread ball idea for pumpkin decor is cute! Beth from Creatively Beth shows how you can make them too. Hop over and see how then pin it for later!
Don’t you want to hang out in here? I do! Debra from Common Ground creates cozy all over her home. Click over and see it all. You’ll pin like crazy!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 372 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We’d like to see linkups like: Home DIY and Décor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, CST on Friday and ends at 11:59 PM, CST on Monday.
- We aren’t requiring a link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog so please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes the Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post is featured.
- Thank you friends. We can hardly wait to see what you’ve been up to!
Oh my goodness, that squirrel table setting is adorable! My grandchildren would love that table setting, but I have no idea where I’d find a squirrel. I’ve been thinking about Christmas decor too. I really like to wait until after Thanksgiving, but we only have three weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, so it makes it really tough…I usually take three weeks to decorate! ha ha. I don’t know what to do.

I know, right?! It’s a hard decision. Especially if you love Christmas decor. Although, if it takes you 3 weeks to decorate, you better start now. LOL! You sound just like me. Our house will be in total chaos for 2 weeks for the process. 😉 Hope you enjoy whatever you decide.
Cindy,
My Link Ups for this week’s party are # 9, 11 and 13!
Thanks so much for hosting each week. I truly do appreciate the time you take to do so!!!
I hope you enjoy your weekend!!
Hugs,

Fall is my favorite time of year for that reason. Well and the weather but this year it’s mostly felt like summer here. Oh well, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. 🙂
Thanks so much for hosting. Love all the really farmhouse posts this week, and of course food for Thanksgiving, Sandi

Happy to do it Debra. It’s beautiful!
It felt so good to donate a large trunk full of fall decor this week. And now that the attic is cooler, I plan to do the same with Christmas in the next couple of weeks. Wish my kids wanted it but nope.
Thanks for another fun one Cindy! I appreciate the feature for our Thanksgiving decor. And I would love to come over with a boujee Fall candle for your home. 🙂 XO- MaryJo

Thanks for hosting, Cindy! I need to start packing up the Fall, too…but I’m still enjoying it:(

I gave away a large trunk full of fall decor this week and I loved it! I’m in purging mode. A little early but we only have so many cool attic days. 🙂 I wish I could have kept the fall decor around a little longer but with the kids gone, the helpers are lacking. 😉
Enjoy your early Christmas celebrations.
Thanks Cindy, for hosting. Enjoy the weekend.
My entries this week are numbered #65+66

Happy to do it Beth. Your table was so cute and perfectly fall.
You will be one busy lady readying your home for Christmas, but then get to enjoy it. I like the idea of skipping over the Thanksgiving meal (not my favorite). However, I do like giving a little time to set the tone of late fall with a Thanksgiving table (shared), but it won’t last long since I’m not cooking the Thanksgiving meal either. Great fall features today, Cindy. Thanks for sharing the cozies.

Who knows, I might like the idea of a non-traditional Thanksgiving and talk my family into it each year. Fingers crossed this year is something different but good. Thank you for sharing your Thanksgiving table with us. I look forward to seeing your post. Hope you enjoy the rest of fall. It’s finally coolish this week (78 degrees) and sunny so I’m trying to get outdoors as much as possible! Woohoo!
Nika and I will be doing the cooking this year. A small get together with just me and the kids and their fams. It will be enjoyable. Love ya… thanks for hsoting!
