Spread the love

Howdy folks!  Are you ready for Farmhouse Friday 357?  Oh good, me too.  I have a couple of jokes for you today.  They’re to keep you smiling if you watch the news and to hopefully help beat the summer heat as well.  Plus, who doesn’t like a little chuckle now and again?

Where do you learn to make ice cream?  Sundae School.

Where to sheep go on vacation?  The Baaa-hamas.

How do you know the ocean is friendly?  It waves.

What do pigs say on a hot day?  I’m bacon!

Did you at least let out a small giggle?  😉

If you missed my post earlier this week, it was a Lifestyle of Love Hop.  There were 10 of us sharing fantastic ideas for baskets.  Now I need more of them so I can squeeze in some of their ideas too.  I couldn’t believe all the wonderful inspiration!

How do I love thee, basket?  Let me count the ways.

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 357

The features this week are all DIY’s.  Why?  Because you can do these inside instead of out in the heat!

dark cabinets with stove top and painted backsplashAnyone else wish they could update their kitchen backsplash but the funds are holding you back?  Check out how Morgan and Sean from Charleston Crafted transformed theirs into something they love.  I love it too!  Pinning for future dreams.

red pillows with a blue and rattan lamp sitting on a side table next to sofaJulie from My Wee Abode shared her easy DIY for an adorable woven lampshade.  I think it looks fantastic!  And she made me realize I could do it too.  Check it out!

two green sewing machines turned into side tablesCan you take a guess as to what these beautiful tables were in a before life?  Hop over to see how Natalie and Taylor from A Ray of Sunlight did it and to see if you are correct.  So pretty!

I’m all for keeping cool inside! After weeks of high 90’s and drought, we’ve been drenched with an inch of rain and more of the same to come all week. So I’m still going to be inside!

    • July 21, 2024 / 2:15 pm

Yay for rain! Hoping the little we get helps the dead grass turn green again. Fingers crossed! Enjoy the indoors Sandra. Home is my favorite place to be.
