Hey hey hey! It’s (Faaat Albert) time for Farmhouse Friday 351. π Did your family watch Fat Albert? Honestly, I didn’t care for TV back then. I was young and would rather play outside, rearrange the room I shared with my sister, or organize the toy box. Not kidding. Dad watched it though and he loved to eat. The man never gained a pound and could eat whatever he wanted. As I got older it was quite annoying.
So in honor of Father’s Day, the theme this week is things fathers might like to eat. My dad would have tried all the featured recipes if you stuck them in front of him. Give him some meat, potatoes, a beer, and a little fishing and he was happy. I sure miss him.
3 Ways to Redesign Your Home and A Fresh New Summer Tour!
I joined Ms. Marty from A Stroll Thru Life for a summer home tour. Our everyday home has had a few decor changes lately. It’s still casual and cozy but with a bit more color. I love it and it feels like I’m walking into an entirely new house! Click the title link under the photo above and check it out. The tours ran Monday -Thursday so you’ll find a lot of new ideas.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 352!
Let’s start the party off with a lemonade margarita, shall we?! Michelle at The Wooden Spoon Effect shares how to customize the recipe. Sounds delicious to me!
Why not schmancy up some watermelon for an extra treat? Melynda at Scratch Made Food For Hungry People turns her watermelon into a salad! Pop over to get the recipe. Looks yummy!
Can a photo of food be pretty? Maybe I’m just hungry. Either way, this photo is making my tummy rumble. Estelle at Homemade On A Week Night shows off her skills with this crunchy shrimp taco. She says it has a little kick. Yes, please!
This is perfect for my motto of eating dessert first! These hamburger cupcakes look so cute and would look adorable on any Father’s Day table. Click over to Anne’s Entitled Life to see just how she made them. Looks like all the trimmings are there. Yum!

Cindy, thank you very much for hosting this wonderful linkup. When I was a child, I also preferred playing outside rather than being glued to the TV. I hope you have a lovely weekend.

I think kids these days are missing out on so much by using screens for entertainment. Wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t all need glasses by the time they are 20. Thanks for linking up Steph.
Cindy,
My Link Ups are Number 13, 14 and 15 for this week!!
Thanks so much for hosting!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!!

Lady, you’ve got a great party, start to finish, with these features this week! I’d go for every single one of them, especially if I didn’t have to make any of them! Thanks for the party!
It’s starting to feel like Texas spring here, hitting the 90s after some great cooler days. I can feel my hair drizzling and plants wilting. Not sure I’m ready for it, but here comes summer. Have a good weekend.

When my kids were younger I like their cartoons much better than ours. I think it was the brighter colors. Especially Arthur and The Magic School Bus. I wonder if those are still on TV? Hope y’all have a great Father’s Day celebration today.
Wonderful featured posts.
Thanks, Cindy, for hosting and having me over weekly. May you have a blessed weekend.

I love your theme this week, Cindy! It made me think of my own dad and about some of his favorite dishes. I so wish I could make his favorite dishes one more time! Thanks, as always, for hosting us all. We’re sharing #109 this week.
