Happy day my friends and welcome to Farmhouse Friday 347. Whether or not you’re a mom of 2-leggeds or 4-leggeds, Happy Mother’s Day! I hope your weekend makes you feel special. Maybe I was hungry when I chose the features or maybe my diet is getting the better of me but either way, our theme is this week – desserts! Why? Because for my Mother’s Day, I want all the things.
On another note, what have you been doing lately? I’ve been zhuzhing up the house at night. Do you ever get a wild hair just before bedtime and want to do something but need to be extra quiet so you don’t wake anyone? That’s been me lately. Like 4 different nights. A little because there’s a summer tour coming up in June but mostly because I’ve been bored. Which by the way, if you missed my last post on Cottagecore, hit the title below and check it out. There’s some beautiful inspiration in there.

Have you ever heard of lemon meringue cookies? I have not! Well, thank you Raquel at Organized Island for sharing the recipe. I’m excited to try them! They sound perfect for summer.
Oranges and chocolate?! Yes please! That has to be a fantastic combo. Don’t you think? Michelle from The Wooden Spoon Effect says they’re for breakfast but I’m going for lunch and dinner too.
Jen from Midwest Life and Style shared a recipe for a frozen pineapple margarita. Say whaaat?! I’ve never heard of such. This is another item that might just become a summer staple. 🙂
Here’s another combo that can quickly become addicting – raspberries and dark chocolate! Judy over at Recipes Simple had me pinning this 4 ingredient ice cream so fast. I seriously couldn’t click fast enough. Wowza and Happy Mother’s Day to me!
