Hello Friends! On today’s Farmhouse Friday 326, I decided to feature recipes that would work for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner for those folks not yet in Christmas mode. I get it. It’s like when we go to our local craft store and see red, white, and blue on one aisle and on the next it’s red and green. It can be quite annoying. So here I am riding the fence and slightly afraid I’m only going to come off with splinters.
In case you missed the latest and greatest on County Road 407, let me share that first, just in case you need last minute Thanksgiving inspiration. The post is part of a Grateful Gatherings hop and was chock-full of fantastic Thanksgiving ideas. And if you click on the home page, there’s also an oldie-but-a-goodie post on how to make super cute fabric Christmas Trees. See, there’s that whole riding the fence thing again. π

FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 326!
I always see recipes using phyllo dough and am intimidated. So when I saw these and it said caramelized onion with brie, I said – dang it, I’m buying some of that dough! Check out this recipe from Liz at The Savory Cipolla. Talk about scrumptious!
Doesn’t this look delicious and festive? I never thought chicken could be so pretty but Judy at Recipes Simple has some skills with this cranberry chicken! My family will think I’ve taken a professional class. I’ll have them lickin’ the plate!
All Kristy from Mommy Hates Cooking had to say was maple pecan and I’m there. This has to be the yummiest looking sweet potato casserole recipe I’ve ever seen. Mmm, mmm, good!
Over at Thirst Priority they say this homemade eggnog latte is better than anything you’d overpay for at the local coffee shop and I believe it! Excuse me but is it too much if a person had one of these every day of the week? Asking for a friend.

These recipes look fabulous, Cindy. I’ve seen a couple other features with Thirsty Priority and they’ve got some really good recipes. I’m with you on the Phyllo dough, but those little brie cups look delish.
Dang, Christmas is a lot of work, inside and out. Poor Thanksgiving, always gets the short end of the seasonal stick. I hope yours delivers enough fuel to get you through the holiday decorating season. Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you for the party.)

I agree. It seems like people are all about Halloween these days then straight to Christmas. The turkeys must be happy with that and might prefer the holiday disappears altogether. π
Have the best Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to y’all too Shelley!
I had to start bringing in some Christmas because I knew I’d never get it done otherwise. But I’m enjoying Thanksgiving decor still and have learned you have to compromise just a little. Just a little mixed up. haha. Thanks for having us over, Cindy. Have a great Thanksgiving week!

It’s okay. When my family comes over they’ll be greeted with pumpkins and cornstalks on the porchette then walk inside and see and smell Christmas! π Happy Thanksgiving Debra.
