Howdy friends and welcome to Farmhouse Friday 315! Can you believe it’s September 1st? I’m so excited. That means today is the first day of my birthday month, 22 more days until it’s officially fall, our anniversary is on the 5th (31 years), I have a long list of awesome fall fun things to do, a couple of weekend trips planned and several lunches and parties with my friends already on the calendar! I love September!
Do you have a month that is just so much more fun than any other month? If so, what is it?

Let’s go ahead and get started with this weeks features from Farmhouse Friday 314. I chose a fall theme. I’m hoping it will coerce mother nature in to get with the program and cool off our hot days!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 315!
Jen from Midwest Life and Style shared this with perfect timing. Let’s all make a book page garland and be those happy people no one likes to be around! π So cute!
One I’ve never heard of milkweed pods and two, I would have never thought to make a wreath out of them either! Just look at this unique wreath from Ann at The Apple Street Cottage. Just switch up the bow and your ready for Christmas too! Love it.
Julie from My Wee Abode shows off her handmade velvet acorns. Aren’t they the cutest thing since the color pink?! She makes it look easy so let’s add this to our list of things to do.
Y’all, the mister is going to love this! Thank you Raquel from Organized Island for sharing this yummy treat and for making me look like the best wife ever! Can hardly wait to make this. Yum!
Now it’s your turn. Share you fun ideas and creativity by linking up below. I can hardly wait to see what you’ve been doing lately!

I’m thinking… I’m thinking… I’m still sweating!
It’s Saturday morning as I read this post, and I’m a girl who likes what I call second breakfast. Sometimes it’s a full-fledged second meal, and other time it’s a nice dessert. That Biscoff pudding dessert had me at the drizzle! Wow, that recipe looks good. And that milkweed pod wreath is amazing. Cindy, with the celebrations and plans you have, your September is bound to be one to remember. Happy Anniversary this week!

Thanks so much Rita! I’ll think of you when we try it soon. I know the hubs will love it. For one of the celebrations, we are headed to the beach today and will eat at some fancy restaurant (can’t be that fancy with beach goers) with some friends wo are leaving for a cruise that sounds perfectly terrible to me. Hope your weekend is enjoyable. π
