Happy short week y’all and welcome to Farmhouse Friday 307! Have you already taken down your red, white and blue decorations or will you leave them out until Labor Day? I’ve already put away the patriotic decorations at the house in the Dallas area. Actually, they are still stacked up in the entryway waiting to be taken upstairs. But at the farmhouse, they will stay out until Sept. 5th – the day after Labor Day.
If you missed my last post and dislike heating up the kitchen on these hot summer days, that post is for you. I shared some simple meals that won’t make you drip sweat inside your own home.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 307!
Now for this weeks features!
MaryJo from Masterpieces of My Life shared so many reasons to love lavender. I know I can’t get enough of the real deal. Check it out!
Ever wanted a shabby chic kitchen cabinet made from reclaimed windows? Well Rachel from The Ponds Farmhouse will show you how to make one! It completely changed the look of her outdoor kitchen. It’s a must see for sure.
Have some bookshelves that don’t look all that pretty? Missy at Sonata Home Design can teach you how to make them look amazing. Pop over there to read her tips and update yours today!
Wouldn’t this put a smile on your face when you walked up? Why yes, yes it would! Beth from Creatively Beth made this from Dollar Tree finds and I think it is seriously the cutest summer greeting you’ll find! Love it!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 307 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We just want to see linkups that would fit in with the farmhouse lifestyle which include: Home DIY and Décor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, CST on Friday and ends at 12 PM, CST on Monday.
- We aren’t requiring a link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog. Please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes our Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.

I’m trying to stay inside and cook crockpot meals or grill. Although the amount of times we go in and out of the back door for grilling doesn’t seem to be keeping the kitchen cool either. I think the answer is just go out to eat. 😉 Thanks for linking up and happy Friday friend!
Cindy,
Thanks again for hosting this charming party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it I truly appreciate it!! I hope you have a great week!

Deb

We came down to the farmhouse this weekend and when I walked in all the red, white and blue is still there and it put a smile on my face. It’s staying. Have a fun weekend!
Thank you for the party. No, I haven’t taken down the patriotic decorations, but I will once my company leaves.

You are so welcome Beth! Love your enthusiasm and that you link up on Farmhouse Friday. Hope you link up again!
Cute features, Cindy! But hey, not sure I could give up my DT flip flops for a hanger – those are a summer clothing staple for me, lol! I love wearing them out in the garden (until a thorn or piece of mulch goes right through the worn down rubber and pokes me or when I blow them out!). Thanks for the party. I’ll either be out in the garden, or setting a table….just bee-cause. 😉 Oh, and my red, white and blue came down on the 5th.

LOL Rita! Your comment reminds me of the Jimmy Buffet song – Margaritaville. Blew out my flip flip, stepped on a pop top. 😉 But I’m the same. I don’t think I ever put on anything else in the summer. I’ve been known to just carry that on through our Texas winters too. Ha!
