Welcome to Farmhouse Friday 283! Y’all, around here our weather feels like spring but I’m pretty sure it’s about to get yucky. Why? Because the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is here Jan. 13 – Feb. 4, 2023! It’s fun for ranchers, farmers, families and anyone who likes tractors, livestock shows with sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, goats, cows and my favorite – horses! Wild Mustangs to be exact. But why the yucky weather… because in all my 50 years of attending, the weather is wet, cold, dreary, sometimes snowy and rarely sunny. If y’all ever get the chance to attend, do it! It’s a Texas tradition worth seeing at least once.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 283
In case you missed my last post, you should check it out. It’s the first hop of the year and my friends and I are sharing winter tours with a lot of great ideas.
A Cozy Winter Home Can Be Charming Without A Lot Of Decor
Now let’s see the fabulous winter and Valentine’s Day features from Farmhouse Friday 282.
Michele from Vintage Home Designs has such a gift for tablescapes and this winter wonderland table fits right in this season. Wait ’til you see the chair covers! So cute!
Need more winter inspo for your home this season? Meagan from Decorative Inspirations shares how she transitioned from Christmas to winter in her home with several pretty vintage looks. Check it out!
I think we all love a good wreath and this winter wreath collection gathered by Amber at Follow The Yellow Brick Home are fabulous! This one looks like a heart already and can easily work into February with a pink bow! What do you think?
I told Cindy over at DIY Beautify that I don’t think I’d ever want to take down this “love”ly Valentine’s Day tree! You need to see the entire thing – it’s perfect!

I hope so too Shelley. Fingers crossed!
Look’s like another fabulous party! Thanks for hosting Cindy!
Thanks for hosting a wonderful party! And thanks for the info about the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo — I think I’ll add it to my list. I love watching horses in races and the handful of rodeos I’ve seen.

It truly is a fun time. The shows are so educational and the animals, though stinky at times, make for a big smiles. Have a great weekend Sandra.
That snowflake tablescape is so pretty!! The livestock show sounds so fun, you’d find me with the sheep! Thanks for hosting, Cindy, have a great weekend!

I love seeing all the animals. The sheep are so funny but are usually covered in shavings. The show animals are freshly bathed and groomed. It’s funny to walk through and see the kids blow drying and fluffing up hair. So fun! ๐
Hey friend, thanks so much for featuring my vintage Valentines tree! Hope you’re having a cozy day! xx

How could I not feature that cutie?! Thanks for linking up!
Cindy
There are so many cute ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Ooh! Heading over to Michelle’s to see that gorgeous tablescape STAT! Yes, that wreath looks like a heart and pink bow would be beautiful. I’ve never heard of the Ft Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. I’m surprised because one of my closest friends here is originally from Ft Worth, and I have a sister who lives in Bedford. I’ve been to one rodeo in my life, in Cody, WY, and it was a hoot! Cindy, thanks for the great leads to other blogs and for your own content. I very much like it and appreciate you!

Aww, you are so welcome Rita and thank you for saying that. It’s greatly appreciated. Ask your friend about it and plan to visit sometime. I’ll meet you there! Have a great weekend.
Thank you so much for the feature my friend! I have to say I think I might steal your idea and make that farmhouse pine wreath into a heart shape and use a pink bow! Love that idea and of course I would credit you with it! I also forgot when I commented on your hop post that the lantern pic with the candles is so pretty and it was my favorite. I love the combo of mercury glass and old tarnished silverplate!
Thanks for hosting!

You are so welcome and I love that wreath too. And thank you for the sweet comment. Not sure what those mercury glass pieces are so I call them candy dishes. Had to bring them home with me a few years ago and usually keep them packed away with Christmas stuff but this year I put them with my everyday stuff. Trying to slightly elevate our home and use some of the less everyday looking items around here. ๐
Cindy,
Thanks so much for stopping by and for your very kind words!!
Thanks again for hosting this charming party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it I truly appreciate it!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie
