Happy FriYay Friends! What a week. Life is busy and I need a vacation. I’m thinking Alaska or Greenland. How about you? Holding up? Need prayers? Let me know! And since summer isn’t over yet, in this week’s Farmhouse Friday 267, I say we eat and drink our way to heaven or fall, whichever comes first. Who’s with me?!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 267!
If you missed last weeks posts (posts -plural. Shocking, I know) I hope you check them out. The first one is a Lifestyle of Love hop I had with a few of my sweet friends. We shared ways we use farm animals in our decor. Lots of fun ideas.
3 Reasons I Love Using Farmhouse Animals in My Eclectic Style Home
The next post was an inspiration from a friend who needed some help filling her vintage bowls around the house. I gave her several things to ponder. I think she’ll need more bowls. ๐
What Do I Put Inside My Vintage Bowls? Here Are 5 Fun Ideas. Plus a whole lot more!
Yep, it’s still hot here and so I stop whining about it and to help embrace it, check out this week’s fabulous features from Farmhouse Friday 266. I wasn’t kidding when I said we should eat and drink our way to heaven.
Liz at The Savory Cipolla is making my mouth water with these Pesto Crostini’s! The color alone should make you want to devour it. Or at least try it! So yummy!
You’ll need something to wash the food down so why not make a Hawaiian Mocktail by Kelli at 3 Boys and a Dog? Doesn’t it look so refreshing?!
I’ve always wondered what Baklava was and how it tasted. I’m looking forward to trying this classic recipe with honey syrup from Sarah at Must Have Mom. Just might have the ladies over too while I’m at it.
DeeDee from Our Clover House shares how to make a single serve sun tea. I might have to wait until fall to make this because these days it’s more about quantity than quality if you know what I mean. So pin worthy!
I couldn’t let our eat and drink dreaming go without sharing this fun idea.
Aren’t these so pretty and perfect to use with a glass of lemonade?! Mary Jo from Masterpieces of My Life shares exactly how she did it. We’re all going to look fancy when we serve these cuties!

I woke up to the 70’s today! I flung open the door and smiled so big. Then took a breath in and sucked up the humidity, coughed then had to shut it. Grateful for the coolness though. Hope your weekend is awesome!
So many great links! I love the lavender ice sticks! Have a wonderful weekend.

Yes, aren’t they so fun?! I think they’d be so pretty at a tea party or on a summer tray with lemonade. Thanks for visiting Elizabeth.
Thanks for the morning chuckle, you crack me up! I don’t know how you guys in the melting southern heat get your houses clean. We are in another heat wave here in the great white north and I wake up with the intention of vacuuming until the sweat beads start dripping and think, nope, not today. ๐ฅต

LOL! If I stopped cleaning when the sweat beads started up, I’d maybe get the bed made. I have to tell Alexa to play 80’s music at volume 5 and wear a wet cloth on my head. It’s quite the scene. ๐ Thanks for linking up Marie!
Thanks so much for the feature Cindy. I am so glad you enjoyed my lavender ce cube stirrers. SO fun & easy. This week I’m sharing a lavender dessert which is also super easy and tastes amazing. Enjoy! Thanks for the party. XO- MaryJo

These recipes all look so delicious, Cindy, and the perfect way to round out the summer season too. I know summer is not technically over until late September but we always use back to school and Labor Day as our unofficial start so bring on the PSL and all the yummy breads ๐ Big hugs and thanks for hosting, CoCo

If we waited until the official date to start fall around here or until it felt like fall, I think we’d end up going from summer to winter in a week. No bueno.
“Baklava was and how it tasted. . . Just might have the ladies over too while Iโm at it.”
It’s really good – there probably won’t be any left to share by the time the ladies arrive.

Love those ice cube stems! Still visiting, just a busy couple weeks. Can you say tooth abscess? I could use some.prayers, yes please, and Mary Jo’s wine. Have a good weekend.

Aww, so sorry. I hear that’s super painful. I am praying for you now!
