Howdy friends! I hope your holiday was excellent and memorable. For me, this week was full of work. More wedding plans, more cleaning and decluttering, more trips to the attic and more donation bags hauled off. I feel I was born tired and since suffered a relapse and if you ask my aching back, it would say it’s no more good than an eyeless needle. By the time the holiday weekend rolled around, I was useless and lazy. And you know what – sometimes useless and lazy is okay. So sadly no extra blogging this week except for getting Farmhouse Friday 261 ready. π
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 261
I loved so many of the links this week making it hard to choose but here are the features from Farmhouse Friday 260.
I love how functionality can be fun too. Julie from My Wee Abode shared how she made these farmhouse crate shelves and look how cute they are! Hop on over to see them up on the wall and styled so beautifully.
I would have never thought of this and so glad I didn’t throw away that old piece of picket fence! Wendy from WM Design House shows off her garden art easel. I can hardly wait to make and use this over and over!
I know your mouth is watering just looking at this yummy dessert by Michelle at Powered by Mom. You’ll definitely want to check out this recipe for easy mango mousse. Scrumptious!
Missy from Sonata Home Design shows how she made these decoupaged bottles. They are so refreshing, perfect for summer decorating and easy to do. Check out the DIY and don’t forget to pin it!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 261 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We just want to see linkups that would fit in with the farmhouse lifestyle which include: Home DIY and Decor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, CST on Friday and ends at 12 PM, CST on Monday.
- You aren’t required to link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog. Please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes our Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.
those decoupage bottles are adorable! Hope you have a great weekend!

Me too Rachel. Hope you get to spend the weekend doing exactly what you want. Happy Summer!
Love that you’re getting stuff done and giving yourself breaks when you need it most, Cindy. I swear the older I get the more I realize how important that blend of self care really is. Can’t wait to hear about the wedding and all that you’ve been up to this summer. Thanks so much for hosting. Big hugs, CoCo

I feel a little guilty sometimes having a moment to myself with a house full of need-to-do’s but the Mister and I have decided we are still going to do the things we did before all 3 kids moved back in. It’s a joke around here when we say “We have quite the life” because my MIL used to say that a lot and we never saw them do anything. π Stay cool CoCo and thanks for linking up.
Thanks for the lovely party! Have a great weekend!
Thank you for the party. Sorry to hear about your back.
