Hey hey hey! It’s time for Farmhouse Friday and I have to be honest. It’s Thursday night, 9:40 pm and I’m just now getting to this! The mister and I are in Wyoming on a cousin (his cousins) camping trip. First things first – I don’t like camping so we (the only cousins to do it) rented a house in town. Hyattville, Wyoming, population 97. It’s been fantastic weather so far and we come “home” dirty and tired. Those are the best days though. Lots of laughs, childhood stories, BBQ and S’mores. We also don’t have cell service when we are at the campgrounds, hence the reason I’m up late doing Farmhouse Friday 256! But y’all are important friends so let’s get right to it.
This week’s features from Farmhouse Friday 255
Julie at My Wee Abode shares how to make cute canvas wall art. I love this lemon print and it’s perfect for a quick summer decorating change-a-roo! Check it out – there’s a free printable too!
Don’t these Strawberry Banana popsicles look so creamy and delicious?! I admit, I buy the Icee Pops and leave it at that but when I saw these my mouth started watering. Raquel at Organized Island shares the recipe and I for one will be making them. Seem so perfect for summer!
Y’all know I love a good repurposed find and this vintage rake turned wreath is a keeper! DeeDee at Our Clover House shows us just how to make our own. Makes me want to go rake hunting that’s for sure!
If this doesn’t make your farmhouse loving heart go pitter-pat, you might need to see a doctor! I love this DIY fireplace and Brittany from White and Woodgrain shows exactly how we can make one ourselves! Yep, pin this and check out the fantastic tutorial!
Now it’s your turn! Show us what you’ve been up to this week and thank you so much for linking up and the support!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 256 PARTY GUIDELINES:

Cindy,
I had to chuckle when I read that you rented a house instead of going camping!! That would be me too! I am so not the “camping” kind of girl!! LOL!
Thanks again for hosting this lovely party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it is greatly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie

After helping pack up and seeing all that goes into it, I find it to be way to much work and unsanitary. LOL. Love the little house we rented though! Glad you stopped by Debbie. Have a great weekend.
Your camping trip sounds fun! We went to Wyoming last year and “camped” in cabins that we rented along the way. We “camped” through South Dakota, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Utah for 2.5 weeks. Loved it!

We made a 3 week trip from Texas to Montana last year and it is probably number one on my list of fabulous vacations. Glacier National Park was my fave but loved all the magnificent places we stopped on the way up and back down. We’ve been to Yellowstone and the Dakota’s as well and it is amazing how different each place looks. The terrain is incredible. Loved all the animals too. I could go on for an hour about each place but you know exactly what I’m talking about already! Thanks for linking up Niky.
Thank you for still hosting the party while away and despite crappy wifi service – we appreciate YOU!

Thank you Marie. Y’all are worth it! Love this party and all the new ideas I get. Happy FriYay!
Thanks so much for featuring my canvas art, Cindy!! It’s always a joy to be featured on Farmhouse Friday!! My sister hates camping too…so they do the same thing and call it ‘Hotel Camping’! LOL! Hope you have a wonderful rest of your trip and time with family!!

Everyone tells me we’re “glamping”. Not sure I agree with that since it’s technically not camping but whatever it’s called, it’s better than being at the campsite. Thanks so much for linking up and supporting me. I know I am terrible at reciprocating but am trying to get better.
I hear you Cindy. I love the theory of camping, but I’m with you; I want a shower at the end of the day and no bugs or grit in my dinner! Have a fun rest of the trip and thanks so much for hosting a super fun party!

Yes Debra! I put my drink down for a little and it had so many bugs in it that I just threw it out and started over. Felt bad for the waste of ice but not bad enough to stop myself. LOL. Thank you for visiting today. I really appreciate it!
Hey Cindy! Enjoy your trip. Iโve camped once and probably never will again. Iโd rent a house too.

I’m so glad I am not the only one who hates camping. Being out there today I decided to help wash dishes and it was so not my thing. They didn’t get clean enough for me and I knew that in just a couple of hours, I was going to be washing those same dang pots and pans again. Ugh. Whoever is making these campers needs to include a dishwasher. That is for the birds. Thanks for linking up Rachel!
I love the idea of camping, but would rather not sleep outdoors LOL! Have fun and safe trip home!

When the mister and I got up this morning and headed back to the campsite, we looked clean and refreshed. Can’t say that about everyone else. LOLOLOL! They are really missing out on this VRBO thing. ๐
Oh my goodness! Thank you for including me this week Cindy! What an honor and I need to give those popsicles a try!! ๐

My pleasure Brittany. You did such a great job and it’s all decorated so nicely. Thanks for linking up this week!
Hi Cindy! Thank you so much for featuring my rake wreath, you’re just the sweetest and I am honored! I love camping, but I need a real bed/mattress so I call it glamping too! I hope enjoy your camping trip! ๐

It has been lovely so far. I think because I enjoy laughing and playing but mostly because I’m coming back to a real bed with a real shower and a real sink and real chairs to sit in. Happy to feature your rake wreath. Thanks for linking up. Hope you have a great weekend.
Thank you for the party. Enjoy beautiful Wyoming.

Thanks so much for hosting each week Cindy! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
Cindy, I know this was a busy post for you (yeah!) but I just wanted to say how much I loved the cute rake wreath! I did go over and pin and left a message. I need to drum up some posts for your party! ๐
