Hey hey hey, it’s FriYay and time for Farmhouse Friday 250! How was your Easter? How has your week gone and how can I pray for you? Our Easter was quiet but fun. All 3 kids were home and one extra boyfriend. We celebrated Will’s birthday on Saturday as well and what a blessing that was! Remember several months ago I asked you to pray for him because he was in a terrible motorcycle accident? Well, except some scarring and a little less muscle mass, he’s doing great so singing another happy birthday song made this momma quite content.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 250!
Since life is still crazy busy around here I’m pulling another spring post from the archives. Archives – I love being able to say that. I’m so grateful to be a blogger and to have so many friends out there. Y’all seriously make all my days!
5 Fun Ideas for Using a Vintage Birdcage as a Cloche
Besides the cloche ideas this post has a link to the DIY for turning an old birdcage into a food cover too. And let me just say, it will be the cutest food cover on your table if I do say so myself. ๐
Now let’s check out the fabulous features from last week’s Farmhouse Friday 249!
Rachel at The Antiqued Journey shares the steps to making this vintage basket into a springy door decor idea. Looks like it can do much more than just hang on a door. So pretty!
Give me all the pink! Kippi from Kippi At Home shares the DIY for this beauty. And guess what?! No hot glue! Hop on over to pin this so you and your Amazon delivery person will have a big ol’ smile all day long!
Lee Ann over at Creative Moments, you’ll see the before photo of this beautiful teapot. I’ve never thought to repaint a teapot but I will now! Loved how this turned out.
Rachel at The Ponds Farmhouse made this lamp and you’ll never guess how much it cost her. Plus blue and white pieces are so classic in home decor. That makes this lamp a keeper for decades. Such a great idea!
Now it’s your turn! We all love new ideas! Thanks for linking up. ๐
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 250 PARTY GUIDELINES:

- You aren’t required to link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.

I thought for sure as we got older life would slow down. Especially when the kids grew up and graduated college. But it seems just as busy and now without a routine! Hope you have a wonderful weekend Niky and thank you for linking up!
Thanks for hosting this week Cindy and have a great weekend! By the way Rachel’s lamp makeover is amazing!

I know, right?! I swear the lamp she used as the before was my grandma’s lamp. I need to find some cute napkins because I see some very ugly lamps at every thrift store I go into. They are as popular as Jesus and velvet Elvis prints. LOL!
Cindy,
Thanks again for hosting this lovely party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it is greatly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie
THANK YOU for featuring my little teapot… and for hosting!!!

It really was to celebrate Will. Loved your May Day Cones! I need to make some of those. Thank you for linking up.
Thank you for the party Cindy! So happy to hear Will is doing great! Sounds like a beautiful Easter/birthday celebration! Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend!
OMGoodness! I have a little oak folding desk just like the one under your birdcage. It was my husband’s childhood desk. And, we are just up the road near Mexia, Texas.

How fun! The one in the photo was my husbands dads desk – I love that! We pass through Mexia all the time. Should we be shopping or stopping there to eat somewhere? We’re always looking for new places. Thanks for the visit today and it was so nice to hear something about you Karen. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Cindy,
I appreciate you so much for sharing my lamp tutorial.

Wonderful features. Rachel’s bedroom is dreamy, but I thought it was black & white transferware by the photo. Have a great new week.
