Hello and happy almost-the-weekend friends! It’s time for Farmhouse Friday 247 and this week the features from Farmhouse Friday 246 are faaaabuloouus! As for me, I didn’t have time to post anything new this week so I’m adding a seasonal porch post from the archives. Enjoy!
When I was looking at this old post, I realized we still haven’t done a thing to the farmhouse front porch! Actually, the last time I was there I only had time to clean up the mess from Christmas. Yikes. I’d like to tackle the long list of wishes but life keeps getting in the way. So as you read the post don’t hold your breath thinking you’ll see anything awesome in a future post. But one of my wild hairs could pop out and surprise us all! ๐
An Almost Refreshed Spring Porch
Let’s get to this weeks fabulous features!
Cindy over at Cloches and Lavender shared how she made several of these adorable peat pots. She says she’s going to fill them with sweets. Won’t they make the best gifts?! Why yes, yes they would!
Kelli at 3 Boys and a Dog had my mouth watering over this Easter Cookie Dip! Her post mentions it’s an appetizer. What happens if you eat the whole bowl and you’re not hungry for the meal? Hmmm.
This shelf is so perfect hanging here behind Meagan’s chairs. I think we could all use one of these somewhere in our homes. Make sure and check out her DIY at Decorative Inspirations and pin for later. I did!
Marie made me smiling with these lovely spring napkin rings. Can you guess what they are made of? With a name like Interior Frugalista, she lives up to her blog name! Just perfect for a beautiful Easter table.
Now it’s your turn to share what you’ve created. We all want to see it! And as always, thank you for the support and for linking up. I truly appreciate you!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 247 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We just want to see linkups that would fit in with the farmhouse lifestyle which include: Home DIY and Decor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, CST on Friday and ends at 12 PM, CST on Monday.
- You aren’t required to link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog. Please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes our Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.

Thank you Niky. I’m anxious to get down there to get this years porch started!
Thanks for hosting this week Cindy! Hope all is well with you and you have a great weekend!
Marie’s napkin rings are fabulous, and my husband would be that guy who’d eat all of Kelli’s dip and cookies before dinner! Confession: I’d be there with him, showing just enough restraint to save room for a little dinner. After all, the tablescape is what I’m all about. ๐
Lovin’ spring, lovin’ seeing things grow in my new that I don’t even what they are yet (and I’m supposed to be a master gardener, lol). Thanks for the party, and I hope your weekend is all you hope it to be.

I bet seeing new things in your garden is so fun! Only thing growing around here is the clumps of green weeds with little purple flowers. But if I didn’t see those (whatever they are), it wouldn’t be spring in Texas. ๐ Happy Spring Rita!
Thank you so much for hosting Cindy! Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks for hosting and thanks for the feature! Hope you like what I am sharing this week. #26 and #27
