Happy day friends and happy Farmhouse Friday 245! The first day of spring is so close I can smell it. Here in Texas it’s been an open-the-door-and-let-the-breezes-flow kinda week. It’s been so fabulous that I’m overlooking the fact that one side of my nose is stopped up. Anyone else fight allergies this time of year but because the weather is so nice, you feel like if you had to charge hell with a bucket of ice water just to be outside you’d do it? Me too!
I thought since I hadn’t done much blogging this week, it being spring break and all, I’d go back to the archives and dig up a spring post. Here you go. It’s a Simple Easter Tablescape. But not just a regular ol’ post. It has a fairytale story to go along with it! Hope you get to read it.
A Simple Easter Tablescape
Now let’s look at this weeks fabulous features from Farmhouse Friday 244!
Denise at My Home of All Seasons has such a talent for decorating lanterns! There are several ideas in this post so make sure and check them out. Each one is so happy and perfectly spring!
Anyone else want to snatch up these mini French macarons from Jen at A Magical Mess?! Only bad thing about them is you can’t eat just one. Looks like this is a plate just for me! So darling and so yummy!
Laura from Decor to Adore has done it again with her beautiful talent for design. She has a tour for us and shares how she decorated for spring using lavender. I’d love sitting in here chatting the day away with her!
Michelle at Thistle Key Lane shares an absolutely fantabulous DIY for decoupaging eggs. They have me all kinds of excited for spring and Easter! You’ll definitely want to pin this so you can try it soon! I did! ๐
Thank y’all so much for linking up and supporting the party! I appreciate each of you! Hope you have a wonderful spring filled weekend. Now it’s your turn to show us what you’ve been up to this week.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 245 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We just want to see linkups that would fit in with the farmhouse lifestyle which include: Home DIY and Decor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, CST on Friday and ends at 12 PM, CST on Monday.
- You aren’t required to link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog. Please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes our Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.
Yup me too. lot’s of growing stuff out there, but still happy for the warmer weather. Thanks so much for having us over Cindy, have a great weekend!

Spring is the only time of year I actually want to plant anything. Mostly because it’s super hot here (to me) come May. Looking forward to all the grasses getting green and the leaves coming back on the trees.
Happy Friday and almost spring, Cindy!
Thank you for hosting and have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Rachelle

Thanks you for hosting each week Cindy and I soooo appreciate the feature! Ugh allergies are kicking up for sure! But…you are so lucky to be able to open doors and windows! We have a foot of new snow outside and more on the way next week. Hurry Spring! Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend!
The only green thing over here is envy because we are still traipsing through several inches of snow. Enjoy those warm temps and send some our way too please.
