Happy Friday Friends! Today on Farmhouse Friday 244 we are seeing green because it’s almost St. Patrick’s Day and even if you don’t celebrate the holiday, it’s fun to see how others do. My youngest daughter was born on March 17th so it’s extra fun for us. She’s not one for really sharing the attention with someone or something else. Actually she’s changed the name to St. Addi’s Day. Gotta love our little lucky charm.
It’s been a long couple of weeks and I still think of Michelle and Paula everyday. I’ve even caught myself getting on Facebook messenger wanting to ask Michelle a question but time moves on and all I can do now is continue to pray for their families.
In case you’re wondering what I’ve been doing lately, here are a couple of posts you may have missed.
9 Super Fun Spring DIY Home Decor Projects
I was in a round up with 8 other bloggers and we shared Spring DIY’s. They ranged from easy to slightly more skillful but were all fabulous so check them out.
A Fun Tour of 3 Coordinating Spring Mantels
Another post was a hop of Spring tours with 25+ talented bloggers all sharing spring ideas. I loved all the different styles and seeing a peek into their homes. I shared my 3 mantels which was so fun to put together.
Now let’s look at this weeks fabulous features from Farmhouse Friday 243!
Y’all! Even if you don’t celebrate St. Patty’s Day, look at these colorful pretzel rods from Premeditated Leftovers. I wish my brain thought like this. So scrumptious and perfect for a party.
Rachel at The Ponds Farmhouse read my mind when she posted this! I need to know how to keep my preserved moss looking fresh. This is a must see. She has a lot of great ideas.
Kippi with Kippi At Home shows us a super easy way to decorate for spring with block signs. You still have time to make these little cuties plus so many more!
Y’all are going to flip over Lora Bloomquist’s DIY Spring Decor projects! I think I pinned all 25 ideas. Don’t skip them and let me know what you think about those carrots! Gaaahh, she has the best ideas.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 244 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We just want to see linkups that would fit in with the farmhouse lifestyle which include: Home DIY and Decor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, CST on Friday and ends at 12 PM, CST on Monday.
- You aren’t required to link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog. Please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes our Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.
Whoa, I’m never first! Me too Cindy, not a day goes by where I don’t think of the two of them. And like you, twice I’ve gone to message Michelle and then I get that deep pit in my stomach when reality hits. Sending hugs your way from Canada. xo

I couldn’t explain the feeling I had when I realized it either but that’s exactly what it was, a deep pit of sorrow in my stomach. So glad we’re faraway friends. One day I’m coming to Canada to surprise you! Thanks for linking up Marie. Big hugs right back.

If you’re talking about the links to my posts, you can click on any of the wording under the photo or any highlighted words (usually a different color) and it will take you right to that post. If it’s the links at the bottom, click on the photo and it will take you to their posts. If that doesn’t make sense, please let me know! I’m so sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for letting me know.
OK. Thanks. I think I got it now.
Thanks for the party Cindy. I love the features and you’re right all of Lora’s ideas are amaZing! Have a great week. XO- MaryJo
Hi Cindy–thanks for being the hostess for the week long spring home tour–I had fun peeking in at all the homes–
only I am a bit more country or beachy in my decor–I have tried and tried to get away from country style here in Florida–but it just doesn’t happen!!
have a great week–hugs, diane

I’ve always said, we need to do what we love and I can see why you love a more country style – even in Florida. It’s cozy and welcoming. My sweet friend CoCo from http://www.thecrownedgoat.com lives in Florida. She’s more romantic farmhouse but you can see that she loves it, is committed to it and it’s gorgeous! And Carol on Instagram (@artandsand) has a country beachy vibe and it’s magnificent! You do you Diane. This world is boring when we’re all doing the same thing. ๐
Thanks so much for featuring my 25 Spring DIY ideas, Cindy! If I can only get my brain unfrozen from our never-ending winter up here (-2 tomorrow morn). Last year I was painting in the driveway at this time! It’s good to see everyone else’s Spring inspiration:) Yes, missing Paula and Michelle, too:(

Thanks for being there for us Cindy, and providing a supportive place to meet up! Hugs!
Cindy, I’ve been so busy with taxes and antiquing for resale lately, I’ve got some real catching up to do with my blog friends. I was very sorry to hear of Michelle’s death. Life is so fragile.
Spring is my absolute favorite season, and all these new ideas just keep coming. I have to say, I love being back in a house with a garden. There may be less time for cooking as a priority, but oh, the fun I’ll have playing house and in the dirt. Thanks for all the inspiration and party.
Author
Thank you Rita and I’m so glad you are anxious to playing house in the dirt. I don’t understand the dirt and gardening happiness. I didn’t get that gene. Maybe we should try rubbing elbows?! Hope you have wonderful spring adventures.
Always so much fun inspiration. Hope you had a fabulous weekend, friend!
