Happy Friday Friends! It’s time for Farmhouse Friday #236! Just a quick reminder, please keep praying for Michelle. Thank you! Just in case you missed what’s been happening on CountyRoad407…
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY #236!
This week we spent a short time at the farmhouse and even though it was nice being there, the time was spent on maintenance and cleaning. Not the most fun. I did make a list in my head of some 2022 projects though. Now that our daughter has moved out it’s difficult to plant things, grow things, maintain anything living when you live 200 miles away and only get there once or twice a month. So 2022 will look a little different. But I have my fingers crossed.
5 Reasons To Still Love Farmhouse Style No Matter What The Trends Say
While relaxing from all the work, I came across an article that said Farmhouse Style was out in 2022. For about 5 minutes I felt sad. Then I remembered all the reasons why I would not be changing to the new trends and those thoughts made me love the farmhouse style even more. Check out my post with 5 Reasons To Still Love Farmhouse Style No Matter What The Trends Say. Then tell me what you think.
5 of My Favorite Valentine’s Day Projects and Posts
It may seem far away to some but Valentine’s Day will creep up fast. Just look how quick 2021 went by! To help keep us on our toes, I rounded up some of my favorite V-Day projects. I’m sure you’ll find some inspo in there somewhere.
Niky from The House on Silverado shared her tiered tray all decorated for winter. You’ll want to check out each little detail!
Lois over at Walking On Sunshine Recipes made my mouth water with her Valentine’s Day Swirl Cookies! I think these would make such a wonderful gift and wowza, so professional!
Tina at The Maple Stone Home shows off her new updated laundry closet. This would make laundry much more pleasant! Don’t you think?
This Candle Centerpiece would make any holiday extra special and Rachel from The Ponds Farmhouse shows us exactly how to make it with her tutorial. Check it out!
Thank you everyone for all the link-ups! Y’all make this a great place to party!

Thanks Rachelle for always posting something great. Happy Friday!
Cindy, Rachel’s candle centerpiece looks like a wonderfully cozy way of getting through winter darkness as well as lighting up Valentine’s Day. I love that. And this house is ALWAYS ready for sweet treat like Lois’. Forget the bread and milk run when it snows, we go for the bakery goods! We’re working on getting fluffy, like my flock of sheep. ๐ Hope your weekend is a good one.
Author
LOL Rita! Getting fluffy is the best idea yet! Thank you for stopping by.

I did too Marie. Are you going to make one? Hope you have a great weekend Marie. Stay warm up there. ๐
Hi Cindy, love the features, especially the DIY candleholders! Thanks so much for continuing the party, and I’m praying Michelle gets some answers and will be feeling better. Valentine’s Day? oh goodness, I still have some Christmas stuff to deal with in the garage!
Author
I still have some Christmas to deal with too and hoping to get it put away before Valentine’s Day! My goal is to have it done this weekend because we’re finally getting a cold snap. When it’s sunny and 73 degrees outside, I don’t want to waste my days doing something boring.
First time at the Farmhouse for me! Thanks for hosting, Cindy and have a great weekend!

Thanks for hosting, friend! Love that pic of the farmhouse’s front porch:)

Thank you Lora. It’s hard not to want to duplicate that look on the porch again. I loved it too. Makes me ready for spring even though I love winter!
Thanks for hosting, Cindy!! Will look forward to seeing your farmhouse ideas come to fruition!!
Thanks for the party Cindy. I hope Michelle is doing alright. I’m praying for her. I love that candleholder! Have a great weekend. XO- MaryJo

She’s got a very long road ahead. Thank you for praying for her.
Thank you for hosting the party. Have a great weekend!
Hi sweet friend I am catching up with you this morning. I loved your thoughts on why you are keeping farmhouse style. Honestly, I think the new term cottage core style features many of the same elements. Farmhouse is here to stay. At least that is what I am telling myself as I am incorporating architectural elements in the new kitchen. LOL
Author
I hadn’t heard cottage core until a couple of days ago when someone else commented on it. I’ll have to look it up. Seriously looking forward to seeing your kitchen. I know it will have so much character and NOT look like all the ones we see on IG. Love it already!
Thank you for the party Cindy! Prayers for Michelle!
