Hello my wonderful friends! I feel like I’ve lived a year of life in just a short time. I missed posting Farmhouse Friday #224 last week because our 26 yr. old son was in a motorcycle hit and run. As a result, he has extensive injuries but will be okay after several more weeks of healing. I was allowed to stay at the hospital with him the entire time and just sitting there in the quiet listening to him breathe gave this momma’s heart some relief.
The names of the Lord that continue to give me great comfort are El Roi, The God Who Sees, Jehovah-Jireh, The Provider, Jehovah-Rapha, Our Healer and Jehovah Shalom, The Lord of Peace. I’m so grateful knowing the Lord has him, has a plan and His plans are always better than ours. Thank you so much for the well wishes and prayers. They are felt and we can see praises upon praises upon praises.
So keep those prayers coming!

3 Simple Tips For Throwing A Fun Fall Party Around The Fire Pit
Having had something done early (that’s a miracle), I was able to join 30 bloggers for The Best Fall Home Tour hosted by my friend Kelly at The Tattered Pew. If you’d like to see all 30 and my 3 Simple Tips for Throwing a Fun Fall Party Around the Fire Pit, click here. So many fabulous fall looks and ideas! Now let’s see
Nancy C shared her quick and easy recipe for the cutest little acorns I ever did see! You’d be the hit of home and party with these little yummies.
Julie at Restyle Relove shows off a how she redesigned her treasures for a whole new look. Check out her tour for great ideas!
Becky at The Vixen’s Den shows off the redo of this armoire. When I saw all the wonderful work she put into it, all I could say was wowza! Definitely worth checking out and pinning for later (or now!).
Lora at Lora Bloomquist shows some fantastic ways she’s used her vintage finds in decorating her home. I’ve wanted a vintage ice cream bucket forever! I know you’ll find something too when looking at her treasures.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY #225 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We just want to see linkups that would fit in with the farmhouse lifestyle which include:
- Home DIY and Decor
- Gardening
- Crafts
- Recipes
- Homesteading
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, PST/8 AM, CST on Friday and ends at noon, PST/2 PM, CST on Monday.
- You aren’t required to link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog. Please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes our Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.
- We have seen many links that do not follow the guidelines. We appreciate you wanting to join but since this is about sharing a farmhouse lifestyle, we will be deleting those that do not fit. For any confusion, see bullet point number one.
So scary! Sending prayers for your son and your family.

Me too. I was afraid with all the Covid restrictions it would be impossible. But it was such a relief. I’m not sure how he would have managed without me being there. Thank you so much for praying.
