Happy Day Friends! Are you glad it’s the weekend? I just keep saying to myself that with each passing warm day it’s a day closer to fall. I’m going to start saying it out loud. I LOVE FALL! This week I began to get some of the bins out of the attic. I’m doing a late summer something post in the next few days and then for me it’s full on fall baby! Woo hoo! That’s just one of the many perks to being a blogger. To get us started enjoying fall, today is Farmhouse Friday #218.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY #218
Let’s start this party with a couple of past posts from your co-hosts. All I had to do was type in thepaintedhinge.com and use the search bar to look up fall inspiration. Michelle has so many creative ways to incorporate an autumn vibe. This is just one of the many beautiful posts. Click the link below the photo to see it.
How To Use Amber Mason Jars In Fall Decor
Doing a search on her blog made me go back and look at some of my older posts too. The smiles just kept coming and then I came across one of my favorite fall tablescapes ever. I remember it being so easy and so colorful that I never wanted to stop using it! If you’d like to see the details, the link is below the picture.
A Colorful Fall Outdoor Tablescape
Do both of those images give you all the fall feels?! My cheeks are starting to hurt from all the smiling. ๐ For even more inspo, let’s check out…
Y’all, this is one of the prettiest cakes I’ve ever seen! Rachelle from My Hubbard Home shares 3 Tips for Creating Rustic Cakes. Do not miss this if you want to be the hit of the party! And don’t forget to invite me!
Julie at My Wee Abode shows How To Make a Wood Leaf Garland. She makes it look easy and I think it’s perfect for so many fall vignettes around the house. Put this on your fall To Do List!
CoCo at The Crowned Goat shared a French Country Cabinet Makeover. As cute as it is, she’s not so sure. She’s asking for you opinion. Pop over and help a sister out.
It may be hard to tell what this is but Judith who blogs at Botanic Bleu shares her French Finesse Bathroom With New White Paint. She has big plans for this space. Just check out the ceiling!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY #218 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We just want to see linkups that would fit in with the farmhouse lifestyle which include:
- Home DIY and Decor
- Gardening
- Crafts
- Recipes
- Homesteading
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, PST/8 AM, CST on Friday and ends at noon, PST/2 PM, CST on Monday.
- You aren’t required to link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog. Please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes our Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.
- We have seen many links that do not follow the guidelines. We appreciate you wanting to join but since this is about sharing a farmhouse lifestyle, we will be deleting those that do not fit. For any confusion, see bullet point number one.
Oh my goodness. So many pretties! That cake is absolutely GORG!! Happy Friday friend and wishing you a wonderful weekend!

So true! Now I have to bake a naked cake AND some apple monkey bread! Thanks for stopping by. You know… You should link up sometime. ๐
I have studied Michelle’s vignettes for every season because she does them so well. She was the inspiration for me to FINALLY get my bookcases styled so they looked decent. I’ll be searching for her fall ideas soon but right now I still have my feet firmly planted in the beach sand. Have a good weekend, Cindy!

Awe, I love hearing that. Can’t blame you up in Canada for wanting to have a much longer summer. It seems incredible! Thank you for linking up! The address planter looks amazing!
Great party, I love all the amazing ideas you highlighted this week! Your tablescape does bring in all the feels! I love the fall season and all the amazing colors of orange, red, gold and green! You captured it perfectly!
Have a great week!

Thanks so much Karin. I enjoy incorporating the traditional colors for fall. Except red. For some reason I don’t like red. Maybe because I lived with so much red for years. Whatever it is the golds and greens are faabulooouus! Like the wreath you linked. I think I need that on one of my doors! Have a great weekend.
Thanks for sharing all the fun, Cindy. I’m so ready for fall. The heat just zaps me, so I’m really looking forward to a cool down. Loving that amazing ceiling of Judith’s! Have a great weekend.

You and me both Debra. Judith’s ceiling is beautiful. I’d love to have all that character in a bathroom! Wouldn’t want to have to deal with any cobwebs but the trade off is worth it. Thank you for linking up. All of the sunflowers in the hearth room are so lively and the pears in the vintage bowl had me pinning away! ๐
Thank you so much for hosting!

You are so welcome birthday friend! Hope your weekend is awesome.
Oh my! That is a lot of links. And all so much fun. I definitely remember yours, Cindy and that great picnic table you got for it. If Iโm not mistaken, that picnic table has made its way to the farm. When I think of fall, I think of you and it makes me smile because I know you are smiling! Have a good weekend.

Awe, thanks. When I think of you I think of July 4th, the golf cart parade, boat rides and Florida. ๐

Thank you Julie, you too!
Cindy,
Thank you for featuring my white painted bathroom ceiling. Looking at the bathroom painted white reminds me of vintage farmhouses for sure. I am still in summer mode since I know fall will not really arrive here until October, but your fall inspiration photos are beautiful reminders of cooler weather to come.
