Hey hey hey it’s Friday which means it’s time for Farmhouse Friday #215! Are you enjoying some summer fun activities or have you been on a vacation you’d like to share with us in the comments? I’d love to hear about you. I haven’t gone anywhere fun this summer but I have enjoyed hanging out with friends. We attended a Memorial Service this week and just being able to sit and chat with gals I hadn’t seen in a while was so refreshing and just the pick-me-up I needed.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY #215!
DIY Fabric Trees
We had some fun on the blog this week as well. Did you know lots of people celebrate Christmas in July? I am not one of them but when I was asked to join in a hop I must admit, gathering 5 of my all time favorite Christmas projects, gave me some of those Christmasy feels. There were 14 of us in that hop and wow, the ideas were aaaahhhmazing! You should check it out by clicking here.
How to easily make a yummy no-bake strawberry lemonade icebox pie!
More fun was had when it was Pinterest Challenge time and we tried recipes instead of doing a home decor project like we usually do. And oh my word, my mouth was watering the entire time I was reading everyone’s post! We all shared a Strawberry recipe. Want to try something new this summer? Check out my No-Bake Strawberry Lemonade Icebox Pie! It’s the best way to end a long hot summer day! Now let’s see
First up is Rachelle at My Hubbard Home. She says these are The Very Best Brownies EVER. From the looks of them, I’m a believer and I can hardly wait to bake a batch!
Michelle at Thistle Key Lane shows us how to create a faux topiary. I think they look pretty natural and would look great in every season! Love these!
Who besides me thinks this is one of the cutest upcycles this year?! Paula at Sweet Pea shares how to use vintage crates and baskets. She has quite the collection!
Amber at Follow The Yellow Brick Home has my heart with all of her decorating with architectural salvage pieces. Just look at all of those goodies. I love everything!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY #215 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We just want to see linkups that would fit in with the farmhouse lifestyle which include:
- Home DIY and Decor
- Gardening
- Crafts
- Recipes
- Homesteading
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, PST/8 AM, CST on Friday and ends at noon, PST/2 PM, CST on Monday.
- You aren’t required to link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog. Please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes our Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.
- We have seen many links that do not follow the guidelines. We appreciate you wanting to join but since this is about sharing our farmhouse love, we will be deleting those that do not fit. For any confusion, see bullet point number one.
Thank you so much for the feature this week Cindy! Can’t wait to click through the other posts for new ideas. Have a great weekend friend!

My pleasure. Enjoy the party!
Hi Cindy, loved the ideas for strawberries! Christmas in July is great for decor ideas… decorating for Christmas in July would be for people with too much time on their hands or a magazine feature only. I have a hard enough time staying in the moment as is. LOL! Just being honest during this long hot time of summer. insert happy face here. thanks for having us over to party, Cindy!

I wondered who really decorated in July. I’m sure there are some out there. I just don’t know any personally. If I did, I may want to be their friend. They sound crazy – and I like that. 😉
I’ve been celebrating Christmas in July all week, Cindy, and it’s been so much fun! Just taking the time to start crafting a few things and to get a game plan together always makes me feel good. After this crazy year, it’s nice to have something fun to look forward to. Sending you lots of hugs for a joy-filled weekend, CoCo

I was finally sitting down last night trying to come up with a plan for Christmas and came up with nothing. I just can’t get in the mood when I’m constantly turning the a/c down. :/ Thanks for the hugs and good wishes! Hope your weekend is exciting.
