Welcome Friends! Can you believe the year is half over?! Does that sounds pessimistic? I don’t mean to be. I’m just amazed how time flies even when you’re a basic empty nester. Well, there’s nothing basic about it. I love it! Freeedom, freeedoooooom, freduhuhuhum! Ha! Wish you could see the big smile on my face. Okay, enough with my happiness. Here’s Farmhouse Friday #213. But first, here’s what your hosts have been up to this week.
Farmhouse Friday #213!
If you missed it, we had a Lifestyle of Love Hop. I love those hops since we always talk about vintage, repurposed, antique goodies or like this week – architectural salvage! Ahh, be still my heart.
Ever heard of Spandrels? Michelle at The Painted Hinge tells us all about her fantastic finds in this post!
You can see how I decorate with different salvaged pieces here in this post. Check it out!
I also shared a bit about the pottery class I’ve been taking and how I spruced up a cubby cabinet.
Carol from Bluesky at Home shows us how to use Chalkart to make this fun farmhouse chalkboard. Just look at that little chubby pig.
Kippi at Home is tempting us with her lemon blueberry muffins! Yes, please. I’ll take all three!
Lora B. Create and Ponder shares her DIY for making these adorable vintage crates into something even more usable – a tote caddy! So cute!
Julie from Home on the Hill shows off her Lavender Fields Hat Box makeover. Quite the transformation!

My pleasure! It turned out perfectly. Every time you post a stencil project I want one. I just can’t make up my mind what to do or which one to get!
Love your porch Cindy! Looks so comfortable and inviting to sit down and enjoy a summer day.

Thank you. Honestly, it’s not that enjoyable in the summer. Waaaaaaay to hot and humid for me. 😉 Now fall and winter… That’s the perfect time of year to be there.
Haha laughed out loud at your empty nester freedom excitement. Isn’t it surprising how despite no longer having kids around, there never seems to be enough time in the day? I thought I’d be catching up on some reading – not. I love your farmhouse cubby.

So true Marie. I was sad at first and thought I was going to be bored. HA! I could use a little boredom every once in a while. Thank you
Thanks so much for featuring my Old Crate Tote Caddys! They can be used so many ways for function and cuteness:) Thanks for hosting, friends!

Our pleasure Lora. You ideas are always the best.
thanks so much for having us over, Cindy. Hope you have a great weekend!

Wouldn’t it be fun if this party were virtual? Although, now that I think about it, maybe not. It would sound like a very full chicken coop! That’s a lot of cackling! Thank you Debra for linking up.
You’re right about time flying! Between walking two dogs who are on different schedules there doesn’t seem to be any time left, lol.
Author
Different schedules?! Oh my. I’d buy at least one of them doggie diapers. LOL.
Cindy,
Thanks again for hosting this lovely party every week! I know how much time and effort goes into doing so and it is greatly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Cindy, your country home photos always transport me. Living in the city is convenient, but getting out in the country (which is quick and easy to do here in WV) is always soothing. I spent some time with friends and family and had some fun with dishes this week. I hope your weekend is everything you hope for. Thanks for the party.

Thank you Rita. When we moved to the suburbs, we loved it because we were surrounded by country. Miles of it. 18 years later and we all the ranches are being sold and housing subdivisions are being built. So we try and get to the country house at least twice a month but it’s 3-1/2 hours away. Sounds like you had a great time. Friends, family, dishes… That’s my kinda fun! Thank you for stopping by today.
Oh I love it here, Cindy!
I’ll be back for sure. I see we’re loving the same things … and the treasure we most prize lives in our hearts.

Aww, thank you Linda. I’m so glad you like it and I love your words. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks for the feature of my hat box makeover Cindy & for hosting. Such a great way to share & in turn be be inspired! 😀

Happy to do it and we’re glad you like the party and get great ideas. Happy Sunday!
Running a little late to the party this week because we’re just getting home from a long weekend at Bliss Barracks but I wanted to pop in and say hello now that we’re back from summer break. Sending you lots of hugs for a week filled with all good things, CoCo

Thank you so much CoCo. I hope you have a wonderful week. And I hope to hear about your long weekend soon. I read about your niece and her new phone. Sounded like a fun time.
