Happy Fri-yay and happy Farmhouse Friday #208! Are you enjoying summer so far? Technically it’s not until June 20th but I’m in full swing of making plans to do nothing. Spent the week at the country house and goodness me it was hotter than a summer revival down there. Just walking from the car to the back door could cause a heat stroke. It’s really the humidity that I dislike and I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like in August. That’s usually when I start doing nothing.
Farmhouse Friday #208!
My 5 Farmhouse loving DIY projects to tackle this summer
If you’d like to see what I plan to get accomplished this summer (before the nothing), you can click here to see the list. Fingers crossed all of the projects can be done inside. If not, it will have to wait until winter. Just sayin’.
Let’s get to showing off…
Niky from The House on Silverado shared a super cute DIY Wine Cork Flag. If you want to make one before July 4th, better get to drinking some wine! ๐
Cindy at Cloches and Lavender shared how to make the berry crates. You will never guess what she used to get this texture. Check it out!
Penny over at Penny’s Vintage Home shows off the new wagon for her metal goat. You should see her entire kitchen. Go ahead, take a peek!
Kristi at French Creek Farmhouse shares her porch. Her goal was to have a French brocante vibe with a feeling of a farmhouse garden. I think she nailed it! Love all the greens.

Thank you Rachelle. We have some really talented creatives that party with us. You included! Have a great weekend.
Lol, love your comment on the wine cork flag as much as I love the project itself! It’s really humid here too. I have pretty straight hair but it grows twice its volume when I walk in this humidity. It’s crazy! Have a great weekend.

LOL, I know what you mean about the humidity. It gives an entirely new meaning to the phrase big Texas hair! ๐
Cindy.
Thanks for hosting each week. I love these features too.

Happy to do it Rachel. Always glad you link your fabulous posts!
Cindy, Such a fun post today! Though I don’t believe my style is farmhouse (though living here does feel like being on a farm), I love your Farmhouse Fridays. I love your comment about doing nothing during the summer. I vote for that! Happy Weekend.

Well if living at Bella Terra feels like being on a farm, you have it made! Well I guess some people wouldn’t feel that way but I do! ๐ Happy summer and let’s both do nothing together.
So much fun web inspiration this time of year! Summer in all it’s goodness:) Thanks for hosting, ladies!

I totally agree. It’s weird to me that I really don’t like red decor at all. I think it’s because I grew up with red sofa’s. a red velvet bull looking thing on the wall (not sure if that was mother’s idea or dad’s but oh my) and later had a barn red kitchen for years but now during the summer I am drawn to all things red, white and blue. Maybe it’s patriotism or just a Texas thang, but give me all the things in red, white and blue!
Thanks for hosting a great linky party! I just found you through Lora Bloomquist. Have a great week!

That’s awesome Beth! So glad you found us. We have some great links and features each week. Hope you can visit again!
Thank you for hosting!! Love the porch feature this week! It is going to be hot in Phoenix this week at 117 degrees most of the week! It is like living in an oven! Have a wonderful week!
Hugs,

Oh my soul Tee, 117?! I know you hear this all the time – at least it’s a dry heat. But yikers, living in an oven sounds awful. When it’s 90 here with 80 percent humidity it’s like we live in a sauna but fully clothed. Imagine that for a bad hair day. :0
