Woo hoo, it’s time for Farmhouse Friday #205! Is it just me or is May flying by? I was thinking earlier this week about summertime and possible travel. Are you excited about that? I was until the Mister got a new job. He starts next Monday. It was a total God thing so no questioning that and when God says go, you go. Just not sure it’s a good idea to take off a month after you just got there so boo hoo for me – no vacation, only staycation. That’s okay though. We have a pretty good time together with whatever we do. Plus without dealing with kids in school anymore, we can go whenever we feel like it! Love this empty nest thing!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY #205!
Did y’all know I have an Interior Decorating biz? I help clients choose finishes for the home they want to redo. I also do staging so I give them a report of all things needing to be done prior to listing if they want to sell. It’s a ton of fun. These last few weeks have been so full that I’ve had little time to blog and I miss it! Same for this week. Nothing going on around here but work. So let’s get right to…
Marie at The Interior Frugalista shows us how to make this incredible Deck Privacy Screen Using Repurposed Doors! I’d love to do this someday so I definitely pinned it for future use!
Lora B. Create and Ponder always makes me smile. This Upcycled Garden Fencing Cloche DIY did too! I can hardly wait to find some old fencing!
Renae over at Peacock Ridge Farm shared How To Repurpose a Grandfather Clock. She makes it look easy and I bet there are clocks in every antique store around!
Regina made me think back to the good ol’ days with this Lost Art of Flower Pounding. Doesn’t this make you want to visit grandma this summer and make this craft?! It does me!
Michelle at The Painted Hinge and I want to thank you each week for linking up. Y’all are the best. And now it’s your turn! Show off what you’ve been doing this week! If you ever missed a feature, you can see them all here!

Thanks Paula! His last day at the old one is today. He was quite happy there but when your old boss from 13 years ago calls you up out of the blue and so many crazy things fall into place with so many confirmations, you don’t question it. There’s going to be some changes with this one but we like change. Thanks for linking up. I was thinking about fruit pizza yesterday! They are the perfect treat for Memorial Day. π
Thanks for taking the time to host this week. Hope you have a beautiful spring day!

My pleasure Sandra. Thank you so much for stopping by!
I love the way you surrounded the firepit with wood. Do you have instructions for this project?

Hey there Jean. I’m not sure which post you are talking about but if you click on the link in the Farmhouse Friday post it will take you to the person who wrote it and at the bottom of their page you should be able to ask your questions again. If there isn’t a comment section, sometimes you can go back up to the top and find the ABOUT ME or CONTACT section and ask your question there. If none of that works, let me know and I’ll do my best to get you an answer. Sorry for any misunderstanding or miscommunication.
Sounds like you guys are busy. I never minded the “empty nest”. I love my kiddos, but always stayed busy when they “flew” off. Thanks for hosting Cindy, have a great weekend!

Not only did I think we’d slow down but I was a little concerned about getting bored with each other. I’m happy to say it hasn’t happened so far. And the Mister is glad I haven’t wanted to kill him yet! π
I’m thrilled to see our water wall privacy screen featured this week. Thank you so much and have a great weekend! xo

You too friend. Have a great weekend.
Well, I know Iβm late to the party since it is Sunday morning, but I am so glad I came. This week, Pennyβs Vintage Home had the most adorable she shed featured – it just blew me away! So stinking cute, it made me want to live in a shed. Thanks again for all the great choices.
