Hello Friends! I hope you are having a wonderful week. So far mine has been full of cleaning, decluttering and decorating – my kinda week! I mentioned a couple of days ago that I’d show you a quick way to set up an Easter table. You might think this looks more for the “kids table” but why not for the adults too? Last year I spent a lot of time in the kitchen cleaning up instead of enjoying my family. This year, I definitely prefer not to do that so I am going super duper easy! If you missed A Quick Easter Table Part 1, you can see that here.
A Quick Easter Table Part 2
I know many of you like to use china or nice plates at Easter but have you thought about using paper and making it a festive but easy celebration? Last year we used the real thing but this year we are going paper people!
I unfolded a napkin to look like and use as a place mat. You can always use a little double sided tape if needed on the corners. Then simply add a large dinner size plate with a salad or dessert plate on top. I got all of this at Hobby Lobby but you can find everything at the Dollar Store.
I used the cup to hold the napkin and utensils too. I think they sort of look like a flower pot. How cute is that?
Everything you need at your finger tips with easy clean up!
If this is way to casual for you and you’d rather use this as the kids table, you can make them feel extra special by adding these little desserts to your cups instead of the utensils. I’m all for eating dessert first anyway!

Bonus Recipe!
Just about every year, I make these delicious potatoes. We may or may not have doubled the recipe a time or two for leftovers. And we may or may not have eaten them for breakfast the next day. Don’t judge. :0
I hope you have a wonderful Easter and get to spend it the way you want and not in the kitchen cleaning up. With 2 of my 3 kids out of the house and other family about an hour away, I am treating our time together differently; hanging on with white knuckles and cherishing every moment.
More time to hunt for that golden egg! I like I ! And still so festive . Smart thinking , my little chickadee.

With my luck Iโd get the booby egg. ๐
Perfect! It depends on the situation but sometimes simple is best! More time for family & less fussing time! Happy Easter season, sweet friend!

Thank you Laura. I hope your Easter is wonderful! Might not be California but Texas is nice too. ๐
You know, in our family Easter is a huge gathering out in the country. We never use real plates! I always feel a little tug when I see all the pretty tablescapes but our day is filled with fun family time…not washing dishes.

Yeah, I always feel like a bad hostess when we hand out paper plates. But family time is more important to me these days with kids away and only seeing them on special occasions. Happy Easter Stacey!
Cindy, what a pretty table. I love the garland centerpiece! So glad you stopped by to share at the Spring & Easter Joys link party! Have a blessed Easter weekend! Cecilia @ My Thrift Store Addiction
