Howdy folks and thank you for visiting Farmhouse Friday 392! I almost made the feature theme this week – comfort food. It got cold again and I know some of you got snow! That’s a total bummer. The rainy season starts this month which means large hail, tornadoes, and thunderstorms with lightning strikes that rattle the windows. Along with so much yellowish-green pollen settling on everything outside that even a good rain doesn’t get it all off. Such as life. At least here in Texas anyway.
What is springtime like in your neck of the woods? Please tell me in the comments. I’d love to know!
It’s been super busy this week around the house and life comes first so I didn’t have the time to write a blog post. That being said, I wanted to check in on you. I wrote a post in January regarding the new trends and how I wasn’t falling for it this year. Did any of you decide to do the same? I’d love to know how you’ve been doing with Launching a Personalized Decorating Movement For Contentment. So far, I think I’ve done pretty well!

If you missed that post, you can read it by clicking the title above. It was quite popular and I’d love to hear your opinion as well.
Let’s get started with this week’s fabulous features. I mentioned earlier it could have been comfort food but it’s actually Easter Crafts/DIY’s! I know, you’re so surprised. 😉
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 392!
Take a gander at this Easter bunny candy dish made by Nicolle at Our Tiny Nest. Head on over there for a tutorial so you can greet your family and friends with a smile… and candy!
The kids seem to have all the fun at Easter. So why not the adults? Check out the DIY bunny ornament Easter tree from Rachel at The Antiqued Journey. Looks like a lot of fun.
You need to look closely at Lora Bloomquist’s floral arrangement. She has a surprise inside and I’m not talking about the eggs! Hop over and see how she created this unique basket of joy.
I feel like decoupage crafts are my favorite kind of craft. It’s basically instant gratification! Who’s with me? Plus there are so many colors and ideas to use with the paper. Pop in to Michele’s post at Vintage Home Designs and see her floral bunny in all its glory.

Cindy, thank you for providing us a space to share our posts. The weather was nice for about a week. We have now dipped back into the 50s. We were spoiled with the 70-degree weather, but we knew the cold weather wasn’t done yet. I’m not looking forward to the storms and large hail that usually hits us around July. I hope you have a great weekend. Take care.

Oh wow! July is your stormy season. That’s wild to me. I’d much rather be in the 50’s thought. Right now it’s 85% HUMIDITY and 80 degrees. What tha cuss! THanks Steph for always sharing your talents with us.
Thanks for another GREAT party, Cindy! It is always fun to see the features and to share as well. Lots of inspirations to take me into the weekend! Take care!

I’ve never paid attention to how long the pollen stays. Hope yours is short lived! Thanks Shelley

That’s fun to hear Melynda. I love trays too. Makes everything look less cluttered. Have a great weekend!
Hi Cindy! These features sure are cute. I popped over the see Laura’s surprise and Michele’s hand at the M-C bunny. She did a great job, and beats those prices M-C commands, for sure. As for personal style, yes, I have stuck to doing my own thing, both in my home and my garden. Some good spring weather in between some leftover winter and false spring had me doing some transplanting last weekend, but this rain and tornado warnings (even in our valley where we’re hugged by hills) has been a bit crazy. This (tornadoes) is not our normal, but so far it’s been two years in a row, awithin a day of each other.
Thanks for hosting the party. I hope you have a great weekend.

I find it strange how weather is so unpredictable. Hope you stay safe from the tornadoes! Be safe and thank you for visiting. I’ve been anxious to get over to see your hop of tables but have been crazy busy. I’ll get there. It’s on my list! Thank you Rita.
Such FUN features this week, Cindy!! Thanks so much for sharing my bunny ornaments….I do appreciate it!
Spring has NOT sprung here in Minnesota yet…it’s still in the 30’s and we got snow earlier in the week. I would love for thunderstorms over snow!!
Author
Happy to feature your ornaments. They were super cute. And I cannot even imagine what it’s like to get so much snow. We get it maybe one or two days a year and poof, it’s gone as fast as it came. I hate to say it but – stay warm and cozy!
Thank you so much for your weekly link-up! It is such a blessing!

You are so welcome Cheryl! I enjoy chatting with everyone and seeing everyone’s links. Have a great weekend.
Thank you for the party. It’s still cold and snowy here in Wisconsin.
Author
It’s 80 degrees here today with 85% humidity. Ugh, I hope this isn’t a peek of what summer is going to be like. Thank you Amy!
That decoupaged bunny is just so colorful and adorable. Rainy season here too. Pouring for several days and dodging horrible storms. Dreary. Chance of snow this weekend. BUT upper 70’s next week. Thanks for having us over, Cindy have a good weekend!
Author
That is crazy weather too! I had no idea. Upper 70’s sounds nice. But for us, so does snow since we only see it MAYBE 2 days a year. Your weekend sounds like good soups are on the menu. Thank you Debra.
Dear Cindy, thank you for the party. Happy weekend. Hope the weather ease up for you
