Happy Friday friends! I’m glad you are visiting Farmhouse Friday 381. How was your week? For me, I look like chewed twine. Literally. I spent A LOT of money to get my hair cut and y’all, I feel like it looks worse than when I walked in (insert rolling eyes). Isn’t that the way it goes most of the time? No one knows better how to deal with your cowlicks or can do your hair better than you.
Enough of that. I’d love to know how your January is going. Have you refreshed your surroundings? Are you on to thinking about Luv Day? What, if anything, do you plan to do for Valentine’s Day? Are you mailing out a couple of packages to some grandbabies or maybe crafting a shoebox for the littles to collect cards from their friends at school? I am tempted to cover our mailbox with hearts hoping to find a few surprise boxes of chocolate inside. If any of my neighbors are reading this, I love all kinds of chocolate. Even the cheap kind. Just sayin. 😉
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 381
Let’s get to the features from last week’s post on Farmhouse Friday 380. The theme is winter decorating with antiques. There are some amazing ideas and a look back at the days when things were warmer to help our friends that might have the winter blues.
I love being able to use precious antique pieces in everyday decor and Rachel from The Antiqued Journey shares some great ideas in doing just that. Pop in and see the treasures and how she’s embracing the season.
Rita from Panoply has a green thumb! She takes us through a years worth of blooms and charming antique landscape pieces to show how differing your plants yields beautiful results all year round. I love it!
Doesn’t this make you want to have family over and hear the laughter all day? The centerpiece and antique dishes are drawing me in. Hop over and see more fabulous cozy snow days from Amber at Follow The Yellow Brick Home.
If this doesn’t scream happy and cozy, I don’t know what does. I love how Debra uses warm brown tones to transition her home to winter. And the added antique pieces are styled perfectly. Check it all out at Common Ground.
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 381 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We’d like to see linkups like: Home DIY and Décor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, CST on Friday and ends at 11:59 PM, CST on Monday.
- We aren’t requiring a link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog so please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes the Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post is featured.
- Thank you friends. We can hardly wait to see what you’ve been up to!

Thanks for sharing my garden room sitting area, Cindy. And speaking of hair, I have to come home and redo mine each time I get a cut and style. I look like a helmet head with no poof. Thanks for having us over. Have a relaxing weekend!

Helmet head is a great description. LOL! For all the volumizing products they sell, you’d think they’d use some of it on us! Glad I’m not the only one. Hope your weekend is a happy one.
Thanks for hosting Cindy! Enjoy your weekend!

I feel like I did in 5th grade when my mother talked me into the Dorothy Hamill haircut. The lady cut off about 12 inches! At least it’s not that bad! Thanks for stopping by Shelley. 🙂
