We got snow yesterday!!! It was so pretty. Today, it will melt. Most Texans are not equipped nor have enough brains NOT to drive on ice so we’ll have several accidents pretty soon. Not sure why (unless for emergencies) people don’t plan ahead and stay home. Anyway, welcome to Farmhouse Friday 380! I’m glad you’re here!
I’ve slowly been taking down the Christmas decor and trees. It’s a lot. But when it’s all done, the house will feel empty and I’ll be eager to refill it with old stuff. I love me some old stuff. During breaks I looked back at a few winter images and wrote a post for us all. No, it’s not more winter decorating ideas. It’s for anyone NOT wanting to know what the 2025 trends are and ready to take a stand against it! If you’d like to read it, click here.

Now let’s look at the features from last week’s Farmhouse Friday 379. This week’s theme is a celebration of love with some Valentine Ideas. You know we enjoy sharing the love around here. 😉
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 380!
Julie at Sum of Their Stories has an easy sewing craft to share. These coasters would be a cute heartfelt gift, don’t you think? Pop in and see how she made them.
Steph Creates Things has made the cutest little trash to treasure keepsake craft. And you know I love all things pink! Totally worth pinning and making this holiday. Pretty and handy too!
Yep, these are cute. You can find this easy DIY on the blog – Olivia Ohern. I think even the littles would enjoy making some. Hop on over! She has a free template to get started.
Thinking about spending Valentine’s at home this year? Well, Nicolle from Our Tiny Nest has a great idea and free printables to boot! Sounds like the perfect evening if you ask me. 😉
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 380 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We’d like to see linkups like: Home DIY and Décor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, CST on Friday and ends at 11:59 PM, CST on Monday.
- We aren’t requiring a link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog so please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes the Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post is featured.
- Thank you friends. We can hardly wait to see what you’ve been up to!
Cindy, thank you for featuring my shabby chic metal can makeover. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, and as always, thank you for hosting this wonderful link-up.

My pleasure Stephanie. Happy New Year!
I hope you enjoyed the snow while it lasted. I live in Wisconsin, and it only snowed once this year and now we have no snow on the ground at all. We’re all looking at the rest of the country wondering why you have all our snow? ha ha. Thanks for the party.

Say whaaat – No snow in WI?! That is seriously crazy! Has that ever happened before? Thanks for the visit Amy.
Thanks so much for hosting, I appreciate it!

I appreciate YOU. Thanks for the visit and linking up. I’m looking forward to seeing what recipe you posted today!
Cindy,
I have not even started to take down Christmas as we have had high’s only in the mid’s 20’s with low’s in the teens with wind chill factors in the single digits…..I was in no mood to go up into my attic in those freezing temps. so I focused on doing other things in the house like working on some of my Quarterly Goals…..I linked up # 11. 12 and 13 including my Quarterly Goals post and my WOTY post…I HOPE 2025 is a better year for everyone!!! Thanks for hosting!! Have a great weekend!!
Hugs,
Deb

Wowza, I wouldn’t be in the attic either my friend. Stay warm up there and thank you for linking up.
We’re in North McKinney (probably closer to Oklahoma than actual Dallas), so maybe 8″ of snow here. It’s been pretty quiet here and not even tire tracks on our street, but then no one other than residents really has a reason to come this far so it’s never really that crowded. Not sure how that Cotton Bowl is going to work out though ~ seems like a disaster waiting to happen! Stay warm and catch you again next week!

I love McKinney! Especially that antique mall on the square. I’m with you on the football game. They best be leaving extra extra early to deal with getting there. Happy New Year. BTW, I’m a Cynthia Lynn. 😉
We woke up to about 5 inches of snow here this morning. It’s beautiful, but… we have cold weather ahead of us. We all know about “black ice” and stay off the streets. Glad you had a pretty winter day to enjoy. Thanks for having us over! Stay warm!

Ah yes, the lovely black ice. Crazy people. Hope you stay warm too and don’t have to leave the house for any reason. If I get bored there’s a Home Goods 2 miles away but there’s so many things to keep me busy in my house I wouldn’t have to step outside until Easter! Goodness me, it’s a wreck! Thanks for linking up Debra. It’s much appreciated.
Not a spec of snow in sight this season, at least so far.
Hi there, Cindy, that you for hosting. All the best for 2025.

Thank you Esme! Happy New Year and stay warm!
Hi, Fellow Texan. Our backyard went from green to white in a few hours. So glad we stocked up on groceries. Sweet Shark can’t leave the house after his back surgery so it’s a good time to stay inside, work, and enjoy the quiet time by the fireplace. Stay warm.

That does sound nice. The Mister went to the store on Wednesday. He came home laughing that as he was checking out with toilet paper and candy, everyone else had milk, bread, eggs, etc. You can see what’s important to him. LOL.
