Howdy folks! Ready to link up, make new friends, and see the features from Farmhouse Friday 351? Oh good, me too. This week the theme is summer. There were a few more entries with summer ideas and since I only choose 4 each week I highly recommend sticking around and checking out all of the entries. You are rubbing elbows with some very talented people. 😉
Since our theme is summer, I’ve decided to share an easy picnic idea we had at the farmhouse a couple of years ago. The table was easy to create, the dessert delicious, and the surroundings couldn’t be beat. We had a great time. Check it out for several more ideas. It’s a Pinterest Challenge!
A Charing Summertime Tablescape
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 351!
Let’s start off with this delicious looking summer salad from Carol at Bluesky at Home. She even shows you how pack it perfectly for a picnic. I guess that’s a 2-fer!
If you’re still in spring decor mode, Debra from Common Ground shares how she transitioned her table to summer. In her post is also has the cutest little surprise. So I guess that’s another 2-fer! Hop over to see it.
Shelley from Calypso in the Country has some fun ways to kick off summer. I’d like to start my summer with a coastal vibe. Pop in to hear her other ideas. So fun.
I think summer should be laidback and easy so I really enjoyed seeing Cindy’s simple summer decorating ideas over on her blog, DIY Beautify. You’ll love them too. I’m still looking for a plate rack like hers. Gaaah! So cute!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 351 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We’d like to see linkups like: Home DIY and Décor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, CST on Friday and ends at 11:59 PM, CST on Monday.
- We aren’t requiring a link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog so please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes the Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post is featured.
- Thank you friends. We can hardly wait to see what you’ve been doing lately!
Happy Friday! Thank you for hosting this wonderful linkup each week. Have a wonderful weekend.

I loved that tabletop setup you had with that alfresco dining, and remember it well! I’m in love with the clay pots and saucers on the mug rack – so cute! I need that in my garage for my pots year round!
