Good morning friends! It’s time for Farmhouse Friday 294. ๐ I here people saying all the time that April showers bring May flowers. With my itchy eyes rolled back as far as they’ll go in my head, I say April pollen get’s me a hollerin’! I still can’t keep the pretty cushions or Easter pillows out on the porchette very long for all of the green crap floating around and covering everything. But enough of that. Easter is only a couple of days away so I’m starting the celebration early. I’ve featured all scrumptious recipes today!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 294
I want to keep you posted on my City Council Campaign. It has been an insane, crazy, busy time with a roller coaster of emotions these last couple of weeks. I’ve been knocking on doors and had interviews with groups around town, newspaper announcements/articles, etc. But just a couple of days ago, it was the videoed candidate forum. Y’all, I was as nervous as a fly in a glue pot. It was just my opponent and me. Up there sitting at the dais answering questions our community sent in and not knowing what to say. That must be what an out-of-body experience feels like because I couldn’t tell you what the questions were or what I said! It’s a weird feeling. But thankfully, just one more month and it’s election day.
It’s time to look at this week’s fabulous features from Farmhouse Friday 293.
I’ve seen these on TikTok and have been eager to bake some. Well these by Walking On Sunshine are even cuter! Just look at the fun color. Mmmm, I can hardly wait until Easter morning!
Since Easter is the reason for the season, these resurrection rolls by Blessed Simplicity is a must make! I’ve never made any but with only 5 ingredients, I have to try.
Y’all, these are flower pot cupcakes! And I think they look perfect for Easter. CoCo from The Crowned Goat shares how. What she doesn’t tell you is that one isn’t going to be enough. ๐
I love me some coconut and oats together so when I saw this recipe I was all over it! And they’re called snack bars. That will make me feel better when I have three. It’s just a snack. LOL. Thank you Crystal and Comp for making my day!

My pleasure Sandra and thanks so much!
Cindy, you’re very brave. few people would put themselves through all this work and effort. I can only imagine what the “temperature” could be at a city council meeting. So I’m standing up and applauding for your hard work! Hope the green stuff goes away soon. We get a little up here, but when we lived in Georgia it coated EVERYTHING!! Have a wonderful Easter Weekend, friend!

I appreciate that Michelle. It’s way harder than I thought and I’m much busier. Looking forward to the end.
Oh my, all these treats. (I consider any bread a treat as well). I just got home from Aldi and bought carrot cake dessert dip with cinnamon graham crackers. Of course, I’ve had to taste everything I may put out on Easter Sunday, and so far it’s been ham, orzo salad, the dip & crackers…….I love holiday grazing.
Happy Easter, Cindy. Thanks for the party, each and every time..
