Howdy Folks and happy Friday! We are all about Valentine’s Day around here but before we get to Farmhouse Friday 284 and the fabulous features this week, I have a little Valentine’s poem for y’all.
Valentine, I like you;
I’m glad that you’re my friend;
We have lots of fun together,
We are a perfect blend!
Did you feel special? Do you know how much I adore you? I hope so and it’s a bunch! With each post I look forward to the comments and getting to know you better. Y’all are the best readers on the planet!
If you missed the Pinterest Challenge this week, we shared Valentine’s Recipes. Click on the link below to see all 16.
A super easy, yummy and adorable Valentine’s Day recipe!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 284 FEATURES!
If this isn’t one of the cutest things you’ve seen, get on the internet more! This is 1 of 3 adorable teapot cozies made by Laura at Decor to Adore. Hop over and see how she made them – FROM SCRAPS! So cute!
Rachel from The Antiqued Journey shows how to make this fantastic Valentine’s Doily wreath. I never would have thought of this. So clever!
Most of the time, it’s not about what you’re making but how you style it. Am I right?! Look at these fun rustic hearts by Regina at Saved From Salvage. I need these in my life!
I have seen some fabulous paper flowers but when they are made from book pages, they steal my Valentine’s heart! Check out how Rachel from The Ponds Farmhouse made them. She makes it look easy!
Now it’s your turn. Show us what you’ve been up to. We wanna see!
FARMHOUSE FRIDAY 284 PARTY GUIDELINES:
- Your style does not have to be farmhouse nor do you have to live in a farmhouse to link up. We just want to see linkups that would fit in with the farmhouse lifestyle which include: Home DIY and Decor ~ Gardening ~ Crafts and Sewing ~ Recipes ~ Homesteading.
- It doesn’t matter how old your post is but please link your posts here only once.
- The party runs from 6 AM, CST on Friday and ends at 12 PM, CST on Monday.
- We aren’t requiring a link back to this party, but if you do, thanks! That’s mighty nice of you.
- A Link Party is a great way to grow your blog. Please don’t post and run. Show some love by visiting and pinning (from the original post) what you find interesting.
- By linking up, you get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across our social media accounts which includes our Farmhouse Friday board on Pinterest!
- When you link to this party, you permit us to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.

You too Lora!
Hope your weekend’s off to a good start, Cindy. I’ll be getting lots of mileage out of the heart plates from my linked post this week. I’ll be using them for Mr. P.’s favorite birthday dinner this weekend, and again for Valentine’s Day and our anniversary. Just a sentimental fool over here….

I love that! I have so many plates I ask myself if I can use them for other occasions before I buy them now. It’s a sad situation. That’s why I haven’t purchased those fabulous toile Christmas plates. One I have no place to store them and two, I can’t actually use them again. Hoping to find some red and white toile that doesn’t look super wintery. Then I can buy them saying they are for Valentine’s Day too! ๐
Cindy, great inspiring Valentine’s Day features. Thank you for hosting. Hope you have a great weekend. -Meagan
Thanks so much for the party Cindy! You’ll see by my links this week that we are still stuck in winter mode in Colorado. I am loving all the pretty Valentine posts though since spring fever is already setting in! Have a great weekend!

I couldn’t wait any longer Denise. I changed out my dark green velvet curtains to the new blue and white patterned set! I’m a little premature but I don’t care. It makes me happy! Hope you have a great weekend as well. Thanks for linking up!
