Welcome friends and hello! Can you believe it’s exactly 31 days until Valentine’s Day? I can’t but I’ve been seeing V-day stuff pop up all over the place. Actually, before Christmas was even here, I saw a couple of rows dedicated to it at Hobby Lobby. Gotta love retail. Anyway, whether you are one to seize the day or seize the discounted chocolate on the 15th, I’ve gathered 5 of my favorite Valentine’s Day projects and posts for you. Just in case you love “love”.
5 Of My Favorite Valentine’s Day Projects And Posts
When I was young my mom would do something for my sister and me every single holiday. Things like green socks on St. Patrick’s Day, Easter baskets, Flag attire for Independence Day, Sweet Tart underwear for Valentine’s day. Yep, I said heart candy underwear. Those were the good ol’ days, weren’t they?
Days when we took naps, consistently had lunch with friends, had a play schedule, minimal work, and life was easy. No real responsibilities. As an adult, I’m no longer getting fun gifts for every holiday. If you are, please tell the rest of us how we can jump on that train.
An Easy Valentine’s Day Wreath with Buttons
This little heart project was done last year and is probably one of the easiest. It’s also a Pinterest Challenge so if you click on the post, you’ll see 16 other fantastic looking ideas. I’m already looking forward to digging this out again.
A Valentine’s Day Wreath From A Cake Pan!
This wreath post was the very first Pinterest Challenge ever put together! I remember being so nervous wondering if it was going to work out, be good enough and live up to everyone else’s wreaths that day. A few years later and we are still doing the Pinterest Challenges! I love that. I have the best blogging buddies anyone could ever ask for.
Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas
This post has decorating ideas and DIY’s. It gives you some cute ideas I found on the web. It is certainly worth seeing to find something doable. The scale was a scroll stopper and I’m infatuated with it!
A Broken Clock Project
Awww, this easy DIY took me back to the 1980’s when the Mister and I were in high school. Another favorite of mine. Probably because I enjoy finding little things to hang inside this little cutie. Plus, it was cheap and I like cheap. Check it out. All of the projects with those friends were under $10 that day!
Valentine’s Day Door Decor Idea
Anyone else like a quick change-up when it comes to door decor? I’m raising both hands and giving them a good wave. I don’t remember the last time we didn’t have something hanging on the front door. So when I can easily use something I already have I’m doing it! I got so many compliments on this one that I might do it again this year.
Whether we see each other in the check out line with a basket full of candy or in the waiting line at the local steak house, I hope you enjoy yourself. 😉
Such cute ideas! Happy almost thinking about Valentines Day!
Hugs to you.

Thank you Jen. Have you thought about what’s going to go on your new front door?!
Cindy, these are all so cute. I used to celebrate for my kids, but I was #9 of 9, so I was lucky for my mom to remember my name, lol. She’d holler, “Pa-Chr-RITA!”
I think I need to do something for my baby granddaughter! Thank you for the prompt and memory.

My pleasure Rita. In case it makes you feel better, my mom did the same thing when she called us. And I only had one sibling!
Oh my goodness Cindy. I love the broken clock project. I was given an old clock that doesn’t work. Now I know what I’m going to do with it. Take the guts out and make it a statement piece. Thank you so much for that idea. From another Cindy 🙂

Yay Marlene! I wouldn’t be able to throw out a clock either and seriously love how mine turned out. Enjoy
I love them all and have pinned this for later but I think my fave is the wreath with buttons – so simple!

Yeah, that was a fave for me. I’m a sucker for anything with vintage buttons though. Hope you have a great weekend.
Yes, those were the days:) I don’t think my mom did quite that much, though…I never got undies like that! I always like to do a couple Vday DIY projects; haven’t thought of one for this year yet:(

These are so stinking cute, Cindy! I haven’t even thought about Valentine’s Day yet but I know I need to get started so this post is perfectly timed. You know those pops of pink make me weak and I can’t wait to feature this post next Friday! Sending you lots of hugs, CoCo

Aww, thanks so much. I really appreciate the share. I need to get started as well. Maybe I’ll turn our home into a Valentine’s Love celebration the entire year just so I can use pink, pink and more pink?! The mister would think I had lost it. Oh well!
