Hello Beautiful Friends.  It’s the beginning of March and as I was scrolling through Instagram to find possible gardening encouragement, I found a few beautiful accounts.  They were so cheerful that I want to share them with you too.  Here are 5 Instagram accounts perfect for spring inspiration.  I don’t know about you but I could use all the motivation I can get considering my brown thumb troubles.

5 Instagram Accounts Perfect For Spring Inspiration

Are you looking forward to spring?  Since our week of freezing temps, I’m honestly nervous because our landscape is in super bad shape.  I’ve read a couple of articles and the advice given was to wait and see.  Wait until the temps warm up before cleaning, pruning or doing anything to the plants and grasses.  Everything looks dead or half dead right now.  If it weren’t for the sheer cost of replacing everything, I wouldn’t be able to stand the waiting.  Fingers crossed I can curb the urge.

Y’all, this will never be our lawn but a girl can dream.  Kim not only has the greenest most beautiful thumbs I’ve ever seen (no, that’s not creepy to say) but she has quite the talent for decorating too.  Each time I see one of her squares, I pin and smile.  I swear, if she opened up her back yard for camping, it would be the only outdoor camping I’d ever do.  It’s simply gorgeous!  Check it out.  You’ll see her magnificent view and then you will be hooked like me.

If this photo doesn’t give you the happy-spring-is-a-comin’-feels I don’t know what will.  The shelves are styled with the cutest blooms and birdhouses.  When I came across this I immediately wanted to decorate my living room in a soft buttery yellow and green.  You can never go wrong with bringing the outdoors in for spring.  ๐Ÿ™‚

Can you imagine walking into this entry everyday?  Even if it were gloomy and cloudy outside, this would have to bring a grin.  The different sized botanical prints on the walls are a great accent to her warm wood tones.  And I bet the smell is heavenly with the bundle of lavender sitting in that fun vintage basket.

I recognize this is in the countryside but it makes me feel as if I’m walking down the sidewalk of a Hallmark movie town and stepped into a flower shop full of florals and vintage treasures.  It creates a tranquil feeling that reminds me of the good ol’ days watching sheets on the clothesline or taking a bike ride down a dusty road and finding the perfect place to stop for a picnic.  How about you?

shelves with flowers, hats and a scarfDreamy White Lifestyle

Similar to PB and P, these shelves by Dreamy White Lifestyle are springy but much more simplified.  Hand picked blooms, a collection of hats and linens make me want to swing in a hammock all day.  I also think with the hats being the color of our floors, this soft gray and white will make my spring decorating seem cozy yet vibrant.  I can see it now!  Unless I change my mind and go with the green and yellow.  Hmmm, so many choices and so many gorgeous accounts to follow for Spring inspiration.

Ain’t that the truth! I feel like a stalker sometimes trying to like a bunch of the pics at one time so they’ll show up. IG needs a better algorithm.

You are welcome but I did it for selfish reasons really. I love looking at your garden. It’s a virtual Disney Land for those of us with brown thumbs! So beautiful!

Cindy, I hear you on the waiting!
I did replace the triple topiary (today, in fact!) with the same Eugenia from Lowe’s in Highland Village (Denton has NADA!) but the boxwoods I am leaving alone for now. I have two large bushes outfront that look awful and I’ll water and fertilize them tomorrow. Anyway, I thought I’d share that: Jim from Hort Tube says to “fertilize and keep watering;” same advice from Linda up in Oklahoma with her advice on Linda Vater, YouTube. They have really good advice and are dealing with some of the same arctic storm damage issues. They all say to wait until you see where new growth starts and cut back to that point.

Anyway, love all the Instagram inspiration you found! I’d camp over at Shiplap and Shells home, too!
    Hugs,
    Barb ๐Ÿ™‚

Next time you’re over at Lowes in HV, stop by! I’d love to chat with you a while. Bring the hubs if you’d like. Maybe we can do dinner or lunch sometime together. Thanks for the advice on the landscape. I’ll check them out. Happy Saturday!
