Howdy Folks! Have you seen coupons in your emails lately showing some fabulous fall stuff?! I have but still haven’t gotten out to take a look in person. With it being around 105 degrees each day, I just can’t bring myself to go. But we are set for a mid 90’s cool down this week so I’m definitely going shopping. If I make a purchase, I want to know what to do with it and where I’m going to put it this season. So, today I’m sharing 5 Fall Decorating Hashtags on Instagram you don’t want to miss! Look at me being all wise with my purchases. 😉
5 Fall Decorating Hashtags on Instagram You Don’t Want to Miss!
Did you know when you are scrolling through Instagram and see something you want to remember or reference later, you can save it? It’s true! Here’s how. To save that inspiration square, look underneath the photo and at the top right corner you’ll see a small white flag. If you push it the flag turns black and the words saved to collection will show up. That’s it! Now you have that photo in a safe place where you can see it anytime you want without having to remember what account it was under.
If you want to look at everything you’ve saved, go to your account homepage. In the upper right hand corner you’ll see 3 lines (one on top of the other), click the lines then click on “Saved”. Next click on “All Posts” and there you’ll see everything you’ve saved. Handy dandy!

Okay, now that we know how to save our fabulous finds, here are a few great fall hashtags to check out. The first and most obvious search on IG would be #falldecoratingideas. Under it you’ll see things like this square by toni_marianna. The fall inspiration I see here are the fall colored stems laying on the mantel, the gorgeous feather art work, natural wood tones and pumpkin colored pillow. This room has cozy written all over it!

Another hashtag you don’t want to miss is #falldecorations. I found this gorgeous porch idea from Amy. Her account is called the_refinedfarmhouse. I know I’d stand there for 20 minutes before every ringing the doorbell! Not only do I want to hang a sign on the outside of my house, I want to layer my outdoor rugs, stack pumpkins on top of a bucket and surround myself with mums! Hello Fall!

A more specific tag to check out is #fallvignette. That’s where I found this cozy sideboard on Dining Delight. Lori never fails to inspire us with her stylish vignettes and tablescapes. A tiered tray with pumpkins, stems and candles would be absolutely darling! And by adding a turkey and a cute sign, this vignette is ready for Thanksgiving.

One more to scroll through is #falltablescape. There’s about 30K photos for table top inspiration. I saw this one over there and it’s mine! You can also see it over at Cindy.CountyRoad407. One idea from this table was using a throw blanket instead of a table cloth and layering a table runner on top as a substitute for placemats. Last but not least is #thedeisntwinslovefall . It’s one of the smaller tags with about 9K but wowza does it pack a punch! I could like and save a ton of photos from this hashtag. Here’s Jodie’s home last fall. Raise your hand if you like adding fall garland around your chandeliers. You know I have both hands raised. And the wreath layered on top of the prints on the wall is unique too. I’m getting into the fall spirit already!
If you want something really specific for fall ideas, check out #fallplaids, #fallporch #fallmanteldecor and #lovingmyfalldecor. Some are hit and miss because there are the people that decide to add a photo of themselves or a pet on a home decor tag just to be seen. Ugh. Go ahead and roll your eyes and just keep scrolling.

Great post, Cindy. I love that save feature. I already had 4 of your 5 hashtags, so I’m not totally out of the loop LOL. I love that I can save my hashtag groups right in Tailwind. That’s another great feature. Love your IG finds that you shared.
